When you think of a relaxing weekend, you may envision a spa break, a cosy night in ... or a trip to an 'alpaca experience.' More and more of these friendly, fluffy creatures are helping us de-stress, with alpaca trekking companies reporting record bookings for their “walk and talks” - but on a more serious note, they are also used as a form of therapy to help treat dementia patients and children with behavioral issues. Our very own Dame Kelly is the proud owner of five alpacas, and she’ll be telling us all about the benefits they’ve brought to her life!
