In Austria, the Johannes Kepler University Linz (German: Johannes Kepler Universität Linz, or JKU, for short) is an institution of higher education. Based in Linz, the capital of Upper Austria, it offers undergraduate and graduate degrees. Business, engineering, law, science, social sciences, and medicine can be studied through its bachelor's, master's, and doctoral programs.
In today's Linz, the park campus is home to 19,930 students, with one in nine coming from abroad. In 1998, the university introduced Austria's first electronic student ID. RICAM (Johann Radon Institute of Computational and Applied Mathematics) of the Austrian Academy of Sciences is located at the university.
Among the top 100 universities under 50 years old, the Times Higher Education ranked JKU at number 41 in 2012 and at number 87 in 2015. The JKU was ranked fifth among young universities in German-speaking Europe in the 2012 ranking. It scored highly for obtaining quotes, obtaining third-party funding, and promoting internationalization.
The campus of JKU is situated in the Auhof region of St. Magdalena in the northeast of Linz. Buildings of the university are situated in a park surrounding a pond, encompassing 90 acres (364,400 m2).

Hello. As an international student, you can find a job here (it is more convenient if you know German) and the income can cover your monthly expenses to a acceptable extent.

Im a PhD student here and getting admission for a PhD program is different completely. But I got everything via email.

Could you please tell me : are the students at the english-taught programmes mainly austrians? and also, if i will live in a JKU dormitory, will people understand me in english? (because I totally do not speak german)... I will study german in the first years, but right now i do not know anything...
Communicating in English wont be an issue for any students at Austrian universities as we have English as school subject since 5th grade.
Not sure about the % of Austrians in English taught programmes. You may ask this question in the /JKULINZ subreddit.
