  • We now travel along the KESR before it was preserved by the preservation society, on a hot pickers special with two Terriers, one of them the Brighton Works shunter, which unfortunately didn't make it into preservation.
    We conclude next clip at Southampton Docks

    "Stroudley improved engine green" -- isn't that the colour that's actually a shade of ochre, because Stroudley was colour-blind and nobody had the heart to tell him?

      I honestly thought it was a sort of yellow, like old custard with a thick skin.
