- We now travel along the KESR before it was preserved by the preservation society, on a hot pickers special with two Terriers, one of them the Brighton Works shunter, which unfortunately didn't make it into preservation.
We conclude next clip at Southampton Docks

A great little bit o history, thanks for posting. enjoyed it very much.
"Stroudley improved engine green" -- isn't that the colour that's actually a shade of ochre, because Stroudley was colour-blind and nobody had the heart to tell him?
beeble2003 in the Wikipedia it said so
I honestly thought it was a sort of yellow, like old custard with a thick skin.
Yeah it really is more of a yellow, always found the name odd
There are many theories, one of which is that it’s a copy of one of his highland railway liveries.
who saw stepney from thomas the train in that. BTW i never knew the exact name of what engine class we was based off of
Hornby. Rip. A1
Now I see why Bulgy hates railways. 3:30-3:50.
I wouldn’t be surprised actually
*Hop Pickers (not hot pickers. Maybe they were hot, but that's not the point.)
