In this video, I'll guide you through every setting in Ultimaker Cura's infill settings, so you can understand how to optimize your 3D prints' strength, weight, and print time. Infill is the internal structure of a 3D print, and it plays a critical role in determining its strength and durability.
First, I'll show you how to choose the infill pattern, such as grid, lines, or triangles, and how to adjust the infill density, which controls the percentage of the interior that is filled.
Next, I'll explain the advanced settings, including infill layer thickness, which lets you adjust the thickness of the infill layers independently of the outer walls, and infill orientation, which can affect the print's strength in different directions.
Finally, I'll share some tips on how to choose the right infill settings for your specific 3D print, depending on its shape, size, and function. By the end of this video, you'll be able to confidently tweak Ultimaker Cura's infill settings to achieve the best possible results for your 3D prints.

This is a "must watch" video for newbies. They have so many problems with infill in the beginning of their 3D printing journey and you quickly and concisely give the info they need.
For me, the INFILL LINE MULPTIPLIER info is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you so much. (thumbs up!)

@@ItsMeaDMaDe I only started printing a few months ago, and painting just a couple of weeks ago, so it's always helpful to see these kinds of videos in case there's additional tricks squirreled away in them. While printing is a time-consuming and aggravating pasttime, when it produces results, they're usually great. I look forward to maybe doing some minis of my own in the future.

This is a great tutorial series and has helped me overcome problems with my extruder. I've done the extruder calibration, temperature tree, flow calibration, bed leveling, and a few cube tests. I'm wondering since the results of these tests were incorporated into the slice on subsequent test, is there a particular order they should have been run? I expect the test results from ealier effect those of later tests, but should I go back and rerun them (in a particular order) to fine tune the results? I have to believe that had I run the flow test before the temperature test I would have had different results.

    Great video with fantastic tips.
However the problem i have is my nozzle always grinds/scrapes on the infill when going over 30%.
The z offset is perfect and the nozzle does not scrape on the walls or top and bottom layers only on the infill.
Please could you help with this?
I have enabled z hop, stripped assembled printer, reset slicer, checked extrusion and it still drags on the infill.
There is a short video on my channel of the scraping in action

for infill line distance, does cura calculate distance from the center of the line or from the edge? If i have an infill line 0.5mm thick and i set distance to 2mm then will the distance be calculated from the center of the line or from the edge of the line?

Super good video. Lots of info I didn't know.
One question, Isn't infill area just dealing with XY, hence the mm^2? I think it would mm^3 if it was considering Z, and would be volume.

    What I got:
Lighting: Creating lighting pattern that gives top layers enough structure to print over it, perfect for prototyping Lighting: Creating lighting pattern that gives top layers enough structure to print over it, perfect for prototyping .
Connecting Infill Line Setting: continuous infill line, adds a bit strength and stability.
Infill Line Direction Setting: adds strength or flexibility to a certain direction.
Infill Offset Setting: changing center of infill is useful in low-density print.
Infill Line Multiplier Setting: increasing the no of infill lines, huge boost for strength in expense of time & filament.
    - Connect Infill Polygons : saves times while using Multipliers.
Extra Infill Wall Count Setting: creates an extra infill wall for the next layer same as wall but printed as infill.
Infill Overlap Percentage Setting: alternate to extra wall. How much Infill overlaps with walls.
Gradual Infill: works as an interface for the top layers to save Time & Print and ensure top layers printed perfectly.
Gradual Infill Steps Height: Distance from top layers to the first infill density step.
Infill Before Walls: great for model that have inner over-hangs.
Minimum Infill Area : awesome setting that prints small area as sold to make it a lot stronger
Infill Supports: creates infill only in the only areas that needs infill.

Suspect there may be times that high percentage infill is stronger than 100% as helps transmit force through the part. But nit picking
