    Chris I know you've covered your knives many times, but us being your fans love seeing your blades. Even though some of them get purged to support your addiction, it's always nice to see what and why you kept certain ones. The 30sec review,,,,loved it. That Jessica BK7, wall piece for sure.

    Chris, that is a great collection. You should be able to cut, craft and survive anything. Your videos are helping me narrow down my choices for a first bushcraft knife. Keep up the good work.

    Thanks for another great video, and thanks to Smoky Mountain Knife Works. We stopped in there a few months ago , our first time. Wow, an amazing store. A quick visit turned into hours.

    Your recon tanto is the best out of all of them😁😁😁...glad you kept it😊..its low key a good bush knife. Chops, feathersticks, notching, batons throgh hardwood, strikes ferro rod, food preps pretty good, stabbing power,easy to sharpen up sharp,defence,tough as nails, 5mm thick spin and best yet its cheap😏

    truly enjoyed this video Chris, hope you might consider doing the same kind of video in the near future for folding knives, and also flashlights, and even multi-tools ...or other themes/subjects to further educate the world on what makes/models of various EDC gear are not only truly worthwhile over the long haul, but also are keepers too. thanks again.

    Any knife collector knows occasional rust is inevitable. Those rust erasers Smokey knife works do a fantastic job cleaning up your blades. Polishing up brass gives a nice shine. Shout out to them. Thanks for sharing your collection. Just might have to try your challenge with my Buck collection.

    Great job! I can't even say Hello that fast! Love the collection! I'm jealous! I gave 3 knives away for Mother's Day. Can't stand when a mother doesn't have an EDC! Thanks for the GAW and the "Knife Show"!!

    Chris, I really appreciate you sharing. I don’t make UA-cam videos, but if I start, I think I will accept this challenged. I have a few knives myself including some US made Schrade low production run knives that most people have never seen or heard of. Schrade Avatar, one of my favorite EDC folders, with a serrated blade and a fine blade. Have 3 or 4 Survive knives in LMax, several Tops (no TB Tracker yet) and a handful of Benchmade, Spyderco etc... I do have any Bark River knives, but I do have a Brian Evans original with three sets of scales. Thanks again for all the reviews!

    Nice group of blades. I used to play the video game Turok in the late 90's. Esee 6HM, oh yeah. Cool surprise for viewers, appreciate it. I have a JX5 on pre-order!

  • @BillHalliwell
    @BillHalliwell 5 років тому

    G'day Chris, I missed the GAW but then I don't watch your videos for GAWs. Thank you for this, disciplined, look at your knife collection. What surprised me was the similarity between your stash and mine. I don't have the interesting multi-function blade design knives you have but apart from that I'm heavy on your knives (except the JX4 - don't get me started!).
    I'm also heavy on LTWK and DLT blades, both of which I adore for their handles, fit and finish. Like you, I love big, beautiful knives with super steels.
    Then there's my 1911 which is so precious to me because it came through the wonderful folk at Dark Timber Brotherhood (via DLT) and they put a DTB etching on it for me. As I will never be able to get one of Pete's customs; that 1911 will go to my grave with me.
    I've even got one of those brown leather baldric carry slings with the brass fittings. It is the most beautiful baldric out there. I'm so honoured to have got to make friends in the US knife community; a better bunch of people I've yet to know.
    Finally, I really enjoyed your 30 second challenge, testing yourself like that was extremely entertaining! Thanks, mate! Cheers, BH

    My buddy showed me his jx4 when we went camping and I fell in love with how it felt in my hand. I’m torn between the jx4 in 154 vs a bark river aurora 2 and or mini. I just might have to pick them all up sometime in the future but I’m scared their going to get discontinued before I get my hands on one. It’d be a great first fixed blade edc for me
