i'm so happy with her situtation tbh no offense. when furina was released i was expecting more from the hydro archon but that's smth we will never get anyway. her playstyle wasn't interesting altough her kit was soo great and summons were actually fun too. altough, i always wondered what could focalors do.... lore and gameplay wise this is better

Like the party can turn into pheonix and the pheonix can attack onfield/off field which consumes nightsoul. All the set requires is consume nightsoul and that basically it. But yeah it'll outshadow Marechausse Hunter with furina so ig why they didnt do that (plus lore consideration) I kinda hoped she gives phlogiston too so we can extend our natlan characters nighsoul duration even outside natlan and abyss
I saved over 180 pulls for Neuvillette and got him at 13 pity. I have Xilonen and Furina. Guess I'm going all in for Mavuika and Citlali since I love Citlali but previously had no incentive to pull. R.I.P. Hu Tao.

Don't think that luck had much to do with it - you probably saved for half a year like me, I got her to c2r1 actually, already have enough for double pity for mavuika, hopefully get the weapon too
as someone who skipped xilonen and dazzled by her design, I'm really hoping they do something about that burst of her, I agree that just drags her down too low cus since I started on 5.0 and wanted to make the most out of my wishes
Xilonen is super-duper good for her, but not necessary to make her work. Don't worry much! But if you are pulling for meta, you could wait a few days and see some comparisons between her and Arle (since both are dps) without xilo of course.
I might be misremembering but another cc said her burst was like 60% of her damage (maybe it’s strictly in melt teams). Seeing the gap between your 25% and their 60% has me confused

mualani and nahida will have their usual sets. Scroll doesnt stack so you have to put scroll on either muavika or xilonen. If you give xilonen scroll, then you would build muavika as for skill dmg (so golden troupe ig). If you given muavika scroll, then xilonen can use archaic petra. I would imagine the dmg boost for mualani with the second option would be stronger than the skill dmg from muavika so the second one is probably better.

HSJDHSHSSH her normals and charged atks ARE considered as elemental skill when in nightsoul state. so YES, earth shaker works on her. u can literally make sense of this when u check guides, where they dont recommend leveling up her normal atk talent, but only her skill and burst.

However, thats additional -20% DEF shred and that periodic dmg is equivalent to using Alrechinno's Q-Ult every 3 seconds (at Talent Lvl 6) ... which is insane. Imagine Arlechinno using her Q-Ult every 3 seconds as additional dmg while Mavuika can continue to do her whatever attacks Lol. That adds a lot of dmg every 3 seconds. And that -20% DEF shred basically makes it stronger. Game breaking strong.
I have 175k primos saved. I'm considering c6ing her since she looks good, has overworld utility on her bike, and having a solid dps particularly for maxing friendship on new characters and easier abyss/IT clears would be convenient.
I am gonna use her in mono pyro with Bennet, pyro Aether and Kachina in cinder city set since i don't have Xilonen. I hope it will help her stack the ult
that Constellation play was sooo nasty from mihoyo but thank god i've been saving up for months. gotta get her at least C2R1 so i shouldn't have problems, maybe citlali too if she is one her BiS support. she should be easily the strongest at C2R1 even buffing her off field capability. Also don't worry, she'll be so valuable and strong at C0 too if u are someone who didn't save but want her. still having a 5 star natlan character other than her would help so much. pyro mc, kachina is always there. especially the traveler.
have a top 1% hu tao and top 100 xiangling so i’m more happy she’s an on-field dps since more field time. i could understand how people with bad artifacts hate xiangling, but super stoked on mauvika’s state to have a fresh face on field.
Oh dang. I think you forgot the natlan craftable as a decent f2p option for her weapons. Especially since it can work off field and emphasises on pyro related reactions
Lmao, they didnt change anything in the v5 beta test, which is stupid, a lot of people already dropping her in advance, they should have buff her even a little, now she just stronger than arle a little bit and that is when u have mav best team, other than that she is underwhelming. Funny as it sound, genshin get nominated in the player voice, either there is too much copium or they dont care about the player base
Everything was fine until the conclusion..... You can't say that she is less good than other characters because instead of doing many thing good she does only one, makes no sense. Obviously with that rating system you will get bad numbers but also for Xiangling or Zhongli, it is not like that the game works or the logic to rate characters. She is a Carry DPS, she is the best in what she does. I would also wait to see if anything changes, since Raiden Archons only got stronger, but if everything stays as it is, she is still the strongest character in the game.
She'll be 82/180 crit with the broken Scroll set I farmed + Wolf's Gravestone so I have almost no choice to pull. I planned to go for C1- C2 because I'll use her off field and burst when available. BUT One of the problems I'm having with team building is that Xilonen ALSO has a team restriction of 2 PECH elements, so I can't do the team I wanted : Emilie-Mavuika-(Kazuha/Nahida) -Xilonen because Xilonen won't heal. In other words, she comes at the cost of benching one of my most powerful characters.
I’m on the fence right now. I was absolutely going to pull for her and weapon, but now it all depends on how she feels to play in the trials. I have to say that Natlan has been really disappointing for me. Region specific abilities, frustrating animal possession mechanics, and extremely strange characters with the riding of guns and motorcycles. It’s all kind of a turn off, and I’m considering dropping the game altogether. I still enjoy some of the previous regions with my favorite characters. The whole region exclusive characters thing really sucks. ☹️
Hoping that they will change it for the better. I have invested quite a bit and enjoy the older characters like Wanderer. Plus being a patron of this game I feel that I should be allowed to voice my opinions. I believe that everyone is entitled to their opinion whether that be negative or positive.
Hi can I get ya'lls opinion on a team? So I was planning to use mavuika as a sub-dps or buffer for a wriothesley team. But the problem is I don't have xilonen, or any built natlan characters.
Mavuika main dps being basically locked through with xilonen is such an annoying prospect, especially since she's an archon. In terms of investment. It goes XIlonen, Mavuika, Citlali, mavuika c1, c2 , r1, etc. It's very very disappointing but I digress, time to save for xilonen.
As someone who wanted to pull for C2 xilonen for Neuvilette and Furina teams, im glad i didnt as Xilonen will be tied at the hips to Mauvuika and 45% atk bonus is kinda mid for Mauvuika as she already has a boatload of Atk buffs by herself and Bennett
They really missed the ball here. Her kit should have given every teammate nightsoul points, and then provided buffs to the team based on that. Her burst should never have been based on a made up stat. Thats what ruins her. She gives no nightsoul, and instead demands other characters consume it to fuel her. Entirely selfish character with an extremely limiting kit. Criminal we are forced to use another limited 5 star on her just to get her kit to function.
Does the bike stance of mavuika counts as skill dmg? If so, wouldn't golden troupe and earth shaker be viable options for artifacts and weapons? Or is the "skill dmg" part of her kit only the off-field pyro application?
Yes, she is a DPS (the strongest) but she is also on par with Xianglin off-field (the best off-fielder). Lets not forget that part. I get the disappointment since she has a bunch of problems...but you guys are underestimating her too much.
Hear me out, how about this? Childe Xilonen Xiangling Mavuika. I think this will be a solid team since Xiangling will have some great energy from Mavuika's and also Xilonen that can do nightsoul burst both Xilonen and Xiangling can buff Childe AND Xiangling especially when Mavuika uses scroll set. Childe will have the best buff because he will be the onely one the game now that can apply hydro fast enough for both Mavuika and Xiangling. I think this will be the best team for Childe when her banner arrives. Childe is getting a MASSIVE buffs as always even though he is still not that good 😂 But isn't this team interesting for you guys? What do you guys think
I have all the hydro 5star characters except neuvillette and child and I don't have single 5star pyro character except diluc wich doesn't count. And I'm stuck with mavuika and arlecchino who should I choose buy I most likely get mavuika.
So currently for Mualani I run; mualani, Xilonen, Emilie, Dehya. And obviously I am replacing dehya. But now I dont know what to do regarding artifacts bc right now I have Xilonen on cinder city, Emilie on reverie and dehya on deepwood. Should I drop reverie and just run deepwood on emilie and try to play mavuika on petra or do I just put her on deepwood, or codex for personal damage??? Idk if anyone has advice I'd love to know (As far as I know instructors isn't a great choice, it hurts Mavuika's personal damage too much. And Xilonen has to be too early in the rotation to have instructors 8 second uptime do anything) And how would a theoretical C2 affect this (I might go for it, not sure yet)
I recommend Codex for her, honestly. It boosts her crit rate by a significant amount when given a 4 piece and it's her BiS artifact most likely due to her scaling with crit when ascending and her signature weapon's low crit rate but higher attack.
After 2 cast of Xilonen skill you gained 180 fighting spirit or if you want to use Mavuika burst faster just use Elemental skill tap (Mavuika) and Elemental skill + 2 or 3 normal attack (Xilonen) you gained 100 Fighting Spirit for burst. Yeah with Xilonen, Mavuika can burst every rotation.
@@yoiko89 Wait, but what I don't understand, is how do I activate 2 Xilonen skills on a rotation?, you say, I could just start rotation by activating her skill, then do all other buffs, and by the time I return to Xilonen, activate the 2nd time of her skill to get, you say, 180 fighting spirit?, so it would be (90+90), something like that?, and then plus 20 of Mavuika's skill?, maybe something like that could work, it seems reasonable. So, taken to a real rotation, it would be: Mavs (E), Xilonen's (E) XL 3 (NA), Bennet's burst, Bennet's skill, Yelan's skill Yelan's burst, Xilonen's burst, Xilonen's (E), and finally, Mavuika's burst, and, I dunno what follow's, cause I don't know if you have to long press (E) to activate moto mode, and then CA or NA depending on your hydro/ cryo application.
@yoiko89 wait, if You first Say 80 + 20 is 100 Xilonen and Mavuika, then, the entire formula would be 80+80+20 (160+20), so 180 fighting spirit till the end of rotation.

Lol i know people skip dialogue in Genshin alot 😅. But yes we've never seen vehicles, that doesn't mean the idea of mechanical Vehicles don't exist in Genshin. We are even very close to a character that built a bike that's powerd by electro energy lol. Their are several highly intelligent characters and master inventors/ mechanical engineers in Genshin. Not surprised that some of them have invented vehicles by now. Especially with the help of Elemental energy, magic and Phlogiston.
Its just bad design honestly. We still only have a version 1 character as our only real offield Pyro DPS. Dehya C2 if you REALLY want. So for all the Twitter Genshin people: How Pyro is handled is the problem...not her specifically. Duh... Citlali just provides so much more fun and possibilities for your account. Mahuika needing other Natlan units is a restriction we have seen in the other Hoyo games already and that too is just bad design to milk your wallet dry.
Little value? having a monster ? no man. She only needs Xilonen. Any example of "but if you don't have this and that" is the same for ANY character in the game. IF you didn't pull for Xilonen, listening to the people saying "not pull" it is on you. It is like saying "Xianling bad if no bennet" It doesn't work this way.
I really hope in the future we get Pyro support to really be Mavuika’s go-to support. Not just for her but other Pyro characters. I would assume they buff the active character as well as Pyro characters in the party but it would just be another Xilonen so I would have to assume they do more then just buffing in any case
If such a character existed, I would say they have to be a kinda Bennett/Dehya mix that heals based on the dmg the active character takes and as well as minimal Pyro dmg just for the purpose of application to make them compatible with low application Pyro units. Any type of buffs are up for suggestions. Could be good for Kinich burning/burgeon comps considering self-dmg is bound to happen but who knows if such a character would be valuable
NOPE! Also... It's WILD that a person who gets her C6 is essentially paying for 3 good constellations and 3 crap constellations. That's like $750 for trash. I don't understand how this game ever makes a sale, the costs are ludicrous.
Well it's "Mavuika is a disappointment and her damage is huge". People were hoping for a support direction for her kit, especially bennett/xiangling-replacement, but both of them still beat her in their niches.
I don't think anyone doomposted her damage, people were doomposting her kit because we really don't need an 9th pyro main dps (11th if you're counting amber and dehya with cons) when we don't have xiangling/bennett alternatives. It was a disappointment because she wasn't a support, but her damage was always amazing

c3r1 is the cap u should aim for, other than that its c3 or c6, no inbetween. Even c6 isnt that good.

I have 175k primos saved. I'm considering c6ing her since she looks good, has overworld utility on her bike, and having a solid dps particularly for maxing friendship on new characters and easier abyss/IT clears would be convenient.

that Constellation play was sooo nasty from mihoyo but thank god i've been saving up for months. gotta get her at least C2R1 so i shouldn't have problems, maybe citlali too if she is one her BiS support. she should be easily the strongest at C2R1 even buffing her off field capability. Also don't worry, she'll be so valuable and strong at C0 too if u are someone who didn't save but want her. still having a 5 star natlan character other than her would help so much. pyro mc, kachina is always there. especially the traveler.

have a top 1% hu tao and top 100 xiangling so i’m more happy she’s an on-field dps since more field time. i could understand how people with bad artifacts hate xiangling, but super stoked on mauvika’s state to have a fresh face on field.

Lmao, they didnt change anything in the v5 beta test, which is stupid, a lot of people already dropping her in advance, they should have buff her even a little, now she just stronger than arle a little bit and that is when u have mav best team, other than that she is underwhelming. Funny as it sound, genshin get nominated in the player voice, either there is too much copium or they dont care about the player base
Facts
Everything was fine until the conclusion..... You can't say that she is less good than other characters because instead of doing many thing good she does only one, makes no sense. Obviously with that rating system you will get bad numbers but also for Xiangling or Zhongli, it is not like that the game works or the logic to rate characters. She is a Carry DPS, she is the best in what she does. I would also wait to see if anything changes, since Raiden Archons only got stronger, but if everything stays as it is, she is still the strongest character in the game.
She'll be 82/180 crit with the broken Scroll set I farmed + Wolf's Gravestone so I have almost no choice to pull.
I planned to go for C1- C2 because I'll use her off field and burst when available.
BUT
One of the problems I'm having with team building is that Xilonen ALSO has a team restriction of 2 PECH elements, so I can't do the team I wanted : Emilie-Mavuika-(Kazuha/Nahida) -Xilonen because Xilonen won't heal.
In other words, she comes at the cost of benching one of my most powerful characters.
Question, does Verdict passive work off-field? Cuz I thought it didn't which would make it bad on her off-field style.
The C6 you show in the video is wrong, the coordinated attack during bike mode every 3 seconds is 500% att, not 400%.

I’m on the fence right now. I was absolutely going to pull for her and weapon, but now it all depends on how she feels to play in the trials. I have to say that Natlan has been really disappointing for me. Region specific abilities, frustrating animal possession mechanics, and extremely strange characters with the riding of guns and motorcycles. It’s all kind of a turn off, and I’m considering dropping the game altogether. I still enjoy some of the previous regions with my favorite characters. The whole region exclusive characters thing really sucks. ☹️

Hi can I get ya'lls opinion on a team? So I was planning to use mavuika as a sub-dps or buffer for a wriothesley team. But the problem is I don't have xilonen, or any built natlan characters.
In the one element we needed a dedicated 5 star support or sup dps they betrayed us by giving us Arlecchino with a Bike.
I waited 1500++ days for her.

Mavuika main dps being basically locked through with xilonen is such an annoying prospect, especially since she's an archon. In terms of investment. It goes XIlonen, Mavuika, Citlali, mavuika c1, c2 , r1, etc. It's very very disappointing but I digress, time to save for xilonen.

As someone who wanted to pull for C2 xilonen for Neuvilette and Furina teams, im glad i didnt as Xilonen will be tied at the hips to Mauvuika and 45% atk bonus is kinda mid for Mauvuika as she already has a boatload of Atk buffs by herself and Bennett
They really missed the ball here. Her kit should have given every teammate nightsoul points, and then provided buffs to the team based on that. Her burst should never have been based on a made up stat. Thats what ruins her. She gives no nightsoul, and instead demands other characters consume it to fuel her. Entirely selfish character with an extremely limiting kit. Criminal we are forced to use another limited 5 star on her just to get her kit to function.
Does the bike stance of mavuika counts as skill dmg? If so, wouldn't golden troupe and earth shaker be viable options for artifacts and weapons? Or is the "skill dmg" part of her kit only the off-field pyro application?

Yes, she is a DPS (the strongest) but she is also on par with Xianglin off-field (the best off-fielder).

Hear me out, how about this? Childe Xilonen Xiangling Mavuika. I think this will be a solid team since Xiangling will have some great energy from Mavuika's and also Xilonen that can do nightsoul burst both Xilonen and Xiangling can buff Childe AND Xiangling especially when Mavuika uses scroll set. Childe will have the best buff because he will be the onely one the game now that can apply hydro fast enough for both Mavuika and Xiangling. I think this will be the best team for Childe when her banner arrives. Childe is getting a MASSIVE buffs as always even though he is still not that good 😂 But isn't this team interesting for you guys? What do you guys think

I have all the hydro 5star characters except neuvillette and child and I don't have single 5star pyro character except diluc wich doesn't count. And I'm stuck with mavuika and arlecchino who should I choose buy I most likely get mavuika.
Either is great, but if you don't have Xilonen, be sure to get her later if you choose Mavuika. Build your Kachina in the meantime 😊

So currently for Mualani I run; mualani, Xilonen, Emilie, Dehya. And obviously I am replacing dehya. But now I dont know what to do regarding artifacts bc right now I have Xilonen on cinder city, Emilie on reverie and dehya on deepwood. Should I drop reverie and just run deepwood on emilie and try to play mavuika on petra or do I just put her on deepwood, or codex for personal damage???

(As far as I know instructors isn't a great choice, it hurts Mavuika's personal damage too much. And Xilonen has to be too early in the rotation to have instructors 8 second uptime do anything)
And how would a theoretical C2 affect this (I might go for it, not sure yet)
I recommend Codex for her, honestly. It boosts her crit rate by a significant amount when given a 4 piece and it's her BiS artifact most likely due to her scaling with crit when ascending and her signature weapon's low crit rate but higher attack.
Can someone talk about how much fighting spirit will she gain on each team, on a fluid normal rotation?
After 2 cast of Xilonen skill you gained 180 fighting spirit or if you want to use Mavuika burst faster just use Elemental skill tap (Mavuika) and Elemental skill + 2 or 3 normal attack (Xilonen) you gained 100 Fighting Spirit for burst.
Yeah with Xilonen, Mavuika can burst every rotation.

Mavuika's burst, and,
I dunno what follow's, cause I don't know if you have to long press (E) to activate moto mode, and then CA or NA depending on your hydro/ cryo application.

Lol i know people skip dialogue in Genshin alot 😅. But yes we've never seen vehicles, that doesn't mean the idea of mechanical Vehicles don't exist in Genshin. We are even very close to a character that built a bike that's powerd by electro energy lol. Their are several highly intelligent characters and master inventors/ mechanical engineers in Genshin. Not surprised that some of them have invented vehicles by now. Especially with the help of Elemental energy, magic and Phlogiston.

Its just bad design honestly. We still only have a version 1 character as our only real offield Pyro DPS. Dehya C2 if you REALLY want. So for all the Twitter Genshin people: How Pyro is handled is the problem...not her specifically. Duh... Citlali just provides so much more fun and possibilities for your account. Mahuika needing other Natlan units is a restriction we have seen in the other Hoyo games already and that too is just bad design to milk your wallet dry.
Little value? having a monster ? no man. She only needs Xilonen. Any example of "but if you don't have this and that" is the same for ANY character in the game. IF you didn't pull for Xilonen, listening to the people saying "not pull" it is on you. It is like saying "Xianling bad if no bennet" It doesn't work this way.
I really hope in the future we get Pyro support to really be Mavuika’s go-to support. Not just for her but other Pyro characters. I would assume they buff the active character as well as Pyro characters in the party but it would just be another Xilonen so I would have to assume they do more then just buffing in any case
If such a character existed, I would say they have to be a kinda Bennett/Dehya mix that heals based on the dmg the active character takes and as well as minimal Pyro dmg just for the purpose of application to make them compatible with low application Pyro units. Any type of buffs are up for suggestions. Could be good for Kinich burning/burgeon comps considering self-dmg is bound to happen but who knows if such a character would be valuable
She is one of the few characters who doesnt care about having another character of their own element present in the team cuz of her lack of energy.

Well it's "Mavuika is a disappointment and her damage is huge". People were hoping for a support direction for her kit, especially bennett/xiangling-replacement, but both of them still beat her in their niches.
I don't think anyone doomposted her damage, people were doomposting her kit because we really don't need an 9th pyro main dps (11th if you're counting amber and dehya with cons) when we don't have xiangling/bennett alternatives. It was a disappointment because she wasn't a support, but her damage was always amazing
