Eeeeekkkk!!!!! GIRL!! I am SOOOOO happy to come across your channel!!! I have been watching 1000s of African Recipe videos...and I mean 1000s. I have been trying so hard to learn new african, nigerian, ghana..e.t.c. recipes. You are the ONLY ONE that uses ingredients I can actually find in my state. Most use fermented fish (cant find), cow stomach (cant find), intestines (cant find)...those pasty flavor cubes (cant find) and you're the only one to say that we can use the harder cubes that we can crush into powder. I am very much going to enjoy and appreciate your recipes! From my family to yours...thank you so much for your content! You have made me one happy American woman. My 7yr old son is addicted to fufu now ahahaha. Stay blessed
Oh, and I wanted to add....the reason I am learning to cook the food myself, there aren't any African restaurants in this state. The closest one is 4 hours away :( I took my vacation week to travel last year and I stopped in to the closest one. I have been hooked ever since
It looks delicious 😍 btw you can also fry the concentrated tomato paste first before adding the uncooked blended pepper and tomato mixture to it. That way you know the paste is cooked and the tomato has infused into it till dry. It’s unlikely to burn this way. Seasonings can also be added during this process. Hope that helps! ❤️🙏🏾 God bless you
I am zimbabwean married to a Nigerian, I really learnt how to make all the dishes from UA-cam. A lot of trial and error but I'm finally a semi-pro lol you'll get there too! Rooting for you!

Aunty Flo, you are the best cook teacher there is!!! Thanks for this…. But I have one question. Please do you have any video on making stew with out frying?
You definitely made authentic Nigerian stew. In my case I marinate my protein of choice for 2 days so it takes me 3 days to make my stew. I also usually boil down my pepper and tomato mix before blending it. I use Hunts tomato paste cos it’s super concentrated with just tomatoes. I love your videos as always.
2 days! 🙌🙌 That protein does not have any other choice than be yummy! 😋😋😋 I boil down first too but that's for when I will use a mortar. If I use a blender, it's usually too smooth for me.
