This fantastic number from the film Panchavarnakili is a very sweet,but a simple "mettu" from our immortal mellisai mannargal. What we are wondering is how the Pallavi smoothly navigates to charanam ,maintaining the "love vibe" throughout the song.Whatever songs Viswanathan-Ramamoorthy composed,it had a touch of melody and spontaneity.The orchestration for this song is somewhat western based,once again which fits fantastically to the tune.The accordion and strings are stupendous. Alka's singing is outstanding.She is able to roll out the song in a majestic manner. She is a highly talented lady. Gopal's orchestra is measured,well rehearsed and precise.Superb presentation.

What we are wondering is how the Pallavi smoothly navigates to charanam ,maintaining the "love vibe" throughout the song.Whatever songs Viswanathan-Ramamoorthy composed,it had a touch of melody and spontaneity.The orchestration for this song is somewhat western based,once again which fits fantastically to the tune.The accordion and strings are stupendous.
Alka's singing is outstanding.She is able to roll out the song in a majestic manner. She is a highly talented lady.
Gopal's orchestra is measured,well rehearsed and precise.Superb presentation.
