Dutch doors are very common in South Africa I personally love them! Can have the door "open" without kids and pets escaping!🥰 Great for places with hot weather!

Its really impressive how your approach to housing is. Of course you do a lovely job!
Here in PR we would go fo tile floors instead of wood or vinyl and add screendoors to each door to avoid mosquitos as well as metal railing in the exterior. Houses are made out of cement which would be extremely difficult to renovate, thats a big con yet its always interesting to view how things change from place to place.😊

I love the wood tones! I am a huge fan of wood. The bathroom tip is so true. Over the past several years, I have thought more about the bathroom space. We are looking into remodeling a van. The bathroom space is the first priority! Love the progress!

We have solid wood upstairs but we just finished our basement and we did luxury vinyl planking and I love it! I wish I had it upstairs. This is coming along so great. 💗
Why do you buy full gallons of stain to test? They have tester size. Even a quart would be enough for a few doors.

Great tips for each of the rooms. Wow 7’ doorways never thought of that and how it would elevate a room! The beautiful wallpaper makes that small room so cozy yet luxurious! Thoughtful placement of the short and tall window(s) are brilliant so you can utilize the wall space and and enjoy a full view of the outdoor scenery. When will the wall bed be available? We really need one for our small bedroom!! 💥🤙💥

I can’t remember if you used them before but I think solar tubes are so cool. I’ve seen them on other reno shows. I think they’re so useful in darker corners of houses. Just My random thought haha. Everything looks so great so far!!!
