I would say that Kirei is the deepest person in Fate, he looks for the meaning of existence, of evil .. He is not like Shinji who is simply a bastard and does not know or question principles greater than him. Personally, apart from the fact that this is an anime with "unreal" things, I can't help but identify a bit with Kirei even though I also despise him for the actions he takes.

I know that this is what you may have meant, but as a Greek religious person myself, we say “Kyrie eleison” in our daily lives. Therefore for me, Kyrie and Kirei are worlds apart acoustically. Because the former means something to me, but the latter is just an inspired fictional name.

Additionally, with the unfortunate cases where someone does get seriously injured (like the Chris Weidman fight), the fight is stopped and the injured fighter is treated as soon as possible, and you usually see people express empathy for the injured fighter. On a side note, you also have to consider that some people wouldn't be hypocritical at all if they never expressed any hatred for violence and actively enjoy it.

Kyrie Eleison (that is, Κύριε ἐλέησον) is Ancient Greek for "Lord have mercy." This song, despite having a Greek title, is sung in Japanese. Took me years to find the lyrics online....
