For anybody interested in macros the current version of bazecor can insert as part of a macro _any_ key, like the led commands, or the mouse emulation or the multimedia/led keys. Finally you can also insert fixed-length or random-length time delays.
Those shortcuts you have pinned to your Taskbar can be started with the Windows key + number 1 to 0 for the ten first shortcuts. You wouldn't have more than 10, right? So at Windows Startup, I always hold the Windows key and push 1, 2, 3, and 5 to open those 5 programs.
You could have a macro to trigger all 4 at the same time. You can also create custom shortcuts on windows to lauch specific apps, and all those to a macro 😊
macros help with filling out job applications as typing out address lines can be tedious and time consuming, but a macro allows each address to be typed out in 1 key press. this is very helpful when you have 15 addresses to type out per application and you plan on doing 10 to 50 applications. that's alot of saved keystrokes. to reduce strain, and also save time.
@Dominique, you can also create whole snippets of codes you need often, like: from the command line launch your interpreter (python, npm, etc), autowrite some code and exec it or automove the cursor in the part the needs configurations (text, etc)
@@DygmaLab from some of the comments I saw from a user in discord, it would be nice to have a video that talks about some best practices transitioning from a normal keyboard, or a full keyboard to a Raise, and then transitioning from there to Defy. I think I heard you talk about the transition ones, but having a video with some really explicit and helpful tips with some good steps in the process would be great for everyone. I bet it won’t be long and you’ll have a ton of new users that will get some benefit from this. Especially since the Defy will be available “soonsoon”! :)
As obvious as this might sound, note that not every keystroke combo needs to be added as a macro. You can just add modifiers to your keys. This will save you memory if you have a gazillon keystrokes tied to macros as I do. It's also quicker. And I have also created combo thumb keys like CtrlAlt and CtrlAltShift to make it easier to type shortcuts.
That is important advice: you can create combos like CTRL+V or any other without needing to make a macro. It's quicker and saves memory. You can also create combos of modifiers like you mention.
If I put macros on my keyboard and then plug it into a different computer than the initial one I set the macros on will it still work? New to all of this and it seems like a lot of potential.
@@DygmaLab maybe its because im a newbie to macros, i created shortcuts and put the text in the macro (LCtl, down, etc) but it does not separate the key press and it only opens one app. i need a class for this or maybe underwater basket weaving lol
Also I'm confused about what can be recorded and what can't. I tried to record macros to copy, remove, and add hyperlinks in Word and nothing recorded when I performed the actions. Can you explain in a later video what kind of sequences maybe have to be recorded in a software rather than on the keyboard? Thanks!
Toggle macro? I click the key, it does the macro, on repeat, forever, until I press it again... Currently if you put a macro inside another macro that call each other, the keyboard just crashes after a few loops.
Tried to purchase the defi, but your site has a glitch. It does not allow me to select the wireless option and complete the purchase. Can you please check?
Thank you for reporting this, Alberto. Have you selected the top panel color first? You should first select the top panel color, and you will "unlock" the other steps 😉
Their keyboards have built-in microprocessors that allow a lot of their features to be easily programmable and saved on the device, or even just be possible at all in the case of super keys
why should you get banned for using macros? are there games that will ban you for using them? If that's the case, just use a random delay between each keystroke of the macro, let's say a random value between 5 and 50 ms. It should pass as a natural combo to macro detectors
@@__mader__ They're cheesy and give you an unfair advanatge. Obviously nobody really cares for casual gaming or for macros with no additional advantage. But imagine binding whole combos as a macro in fighting games. Either you will get banned or you cheated not only the game, but yourself.
The autocad macros section feels so wrong. AutoCAD already has "macros" already and you don't really need to memorize because it's basically 1 to 4 letter shortcuts of the stuff you want to do most of the time. For example, co or cp for copy, ro for rotate, rec for rectangle, bl for block, l for line, pl for polyline.
That's true, but you still need to type those letters, and some are on the right side of the keyboard, forcing you to mover your left hand over or lifting the right one for the mouse. With a layer full of your most used commands you can avoid that. You can even have a macro for more complex sequences, like a macro for each Offset distance you use the most.

That's right! Thank you Massimiliano!
Random-length time delays? I wonder if you can use this to bypass macro detection in games that don't allow them?

Yup, our dev Alex uses those on Visual Studio Code 😊

Yes, your macros are saved in the Neuron, so they'll work on different computers 🖥️ 💻
How do you set it up to open your frequently apps at once? Do you have a video for this?
You can make a macro for each app and then a Macro that calls all those macros :-)

You can only record actions performed with the keyboard. It's a keyboard recorder.

Also fun to connect AHK macros to macro keys

will this macro work on normal non programmable keyboards ?
Nope, because you need our software Bazecor to program the macros and Bazecor only works with our programmable keyboards 🥲

I was right withyou until you mentioned bazecor... Why isn't this just native in Windows 11?
I don't know, but you should get one of our keyboards to try them 😜 Also I recommend you AutoHotkey for macros in Windows!
are but how and using what keys we can set macros ???
In any of them, as our keyboards are 100% programmable, and you can configure them using our Bazecor software 😊
