- This Hot Wheels Power Loop Set with motorized stunt racing has a copyright of 1994. I had issues with this set so I had used box to open up plus I had a third set! That one was only called "Power Loop" (not Power Loop Set) but the design was exactly the same. The colors were a bit different with the foam booster, the colors of the stickers and the curves had a slightly different color. When I bought those last two sets second-hand, they were already opened, stickers applied and did not contain any cars.

must be they re-placed the cutting machine or moulding and no one checked the size, the only other thing i can think of is were were all three made? maybe one company was using mm and another CM or inches

Since I opened up three sets, I'm quite likely to use them for Track Time. That will be more fun-focused and likely have some 'zoomed-in' camera angles.

If you put two of the "low profile" curves side by side, can you use the Monster Jam trucks with it?
Nice question. You could not put them side-by-side, on the ground. however, if you elevated the outside Lane, it might work.
RaceGrooves I'm desperate to find turns that can work side-by-side so that I can add turns into my Monster Trucks courses any other ideas?
Personally, I would look for ways to custom make your own curves, not using pre-made parts.
Have you tried to improve the car launchers?
The how well do the 90s era tracks hold up over time???
The Power Loop needs to be disassembled after each use. If it is left set up, the tweaking to keep it locked in place eventually causes stress creases and breaks. The normal vertical loop lasts for many years.

You should take a furniture wipe to the whole track that will make the cars really zip.

If you have theme could open the Hotwheels X-V RACERS TRIPLE LOOP SET an the Hotwheels CRISS CROSS CRASH SET I loved theses two sets I had theme when I was little!!!!

The track isnt made out of titanium. Trim it with a pair of scissors to fit.
They just changed the serpent for a loop its like a changed version of serpent revenge
How old those tracks were back in the old days?

another 90's play set, what's next? crash test dummies ones? it was two luancers i think they were sping powered, a cross in the middle 4x looooooooong track then at the end some cones with black rubber bands on if you missed, the cars when crashed would bend slightly

Now seems like a good time to mention the Top Speed: Triple Threat track set. It was part of an interesting sub-series of 90s Hot Wheels called Top Speed. The neat part about Triple Threat is that there are three layouts you can build with the translucent track pieces, and each involves a large jump into the funnel that also catches the cars if they go too high, making it ideal for testing different cars. I think you'd enjoy it!

Actually, they're not broken, the tracks are too narrow and the curves are too sharp to keep the car in track. If it's wider and the curves are gentler, likely it'll can last longer.
Had this set. You weren't supposed to prop the loop open like that, it depended on letting the car get some additional speed going back down the loop when you opened it again for it to be consistent. Well, more consistent; the track could still come apart but at least the car would make it all the way.

RaceGrooves No, It's a 150 mph wind rated shed. The winds in my area were 70-80 mph. It has officially survived 2 hurricanes now💪
Great video! I had this set. My kids keep asking where it is. Sadly, I was not very careful with my tracks or cars for that matter.
Looked like each 3 inch piece was cut differently. Was there one common length that worked with all the other sets you have? I would just trim a spare piece of track to the size needed. Also I was surprised how well the foam power charger wheels held up for being so old of a set.

Have you ever tried using pledge to polish your tracks. I use it for cleaning my sons tracks and it improves speed and smoothness. Pledge wood furniture polish.
