yeah ha ha! Hindi naman mahirap kasi hindi naman need haluin palagi pero matagal gawin kasi from liqiud to solid and also kelangan coconut cream or kakang-gata kaya medyo mas mahal sya sa cost if you think about it.

Yes but I noticed kokonti ang nagagawa kasi puro oil lang and it's dry or something. Baka depende sa brand ng coconut milk sa can. The one I use is 19 oz can MaePloy brand coconut cream and it always gives a lot of latik which I can use sa dalawang batch ng sapin-sapin.

It could be the pan, or the heat (should be medium heat), texture should be like gaya sa video na malambot. Kung matagal maluto add ka kahit ilang minutes pa.
@@jay-annetamson2720 Hindi dapat umabot ng ganoon katagal. Once na nagset na, pwede na ilagay ang susunog na mixture. Also hindi dapat magaspang. It could be your flour or tumining na at hindi mo mix bago mo ilagay. Also, baka naman maliit ang steamer mo at eksakto lang ang pan so natakpan na lahat ng butas at wala na singawan.

What is a good alternative flavoring for the yellow part? 2. 3/4c sugar and 1/4c condensed milk would roughly equate 1c right? My question is, can i use 1 cup of condensed milk instead of sugar altogether or will it be a bad idea?
@@josephjimenez6180 about like that it varies depending on how high your heat is. normally it is about 10 minutes each. I put 5 minutes on the last to make sure you will check if it has already firmed up and not to over steam it.

Ube is a different but falls in the same category.
Ube means taro. But alternatively we use purple food coloring to looks ube

I didn't add a cloth and it was ok.
The trick is to shake the can of coconut milk for a few seconds before opening it so you dont have any clumps.

It just say yellow sa packaging. Use Langka Flavor by Mc Cormick. It has dark color and adds flavor.

But I never knew it had yellow food coloring which is banned in other country. I thought it’s because of natural color from langka..

I don't know what happened but many followers have made it without issues. Factors could be over steamed, wrong measurements etc.
