Thank you for airing this episode, It is so very sad, it must be so hard on everyone who has to deal with this kind of illness but especially the doctors and nurses who provide the care, Could never do what they do! They are very special people!
Thanks for posting this, I was diagnosed with ALL Leukemia at age 2 in 1983, I love how the emphasis on this episode is about bringing the child's wish come true Like the Dream Factory and the Make a wish foundation that work along side the Leukemia foundation.
Tonia Samples my best friend had ALL when we were in junior high. Her name is also Tonya, just spelled different than your name. I remember her going through chemo at Cook Children’s Hospital. She did amazing! She’s now a mother of three and grandmother of two! This after being told she’d never have children due to chemo! She just celebrated 32 years cancer free! She’s such a blessing and will always be my hero!
This show was kind of sad but Gonzo came through for Kevin , and Doctor Dave, when he brought the circus to the hospital and let Kevin be a clown. Doctor Dave was quite despondent but found out, when Kevin passed away, that he made his life a little more happy and came around when he saw the coloring book on the bed.
Watching this again I must admit that I found the circus scene rather disgusting. Animals in cages, and that beautiful majestic elephant doing "tricks" for the entertainment of humans. I hope this shocking practice has now been abolished in the USA as it has here now that we know how animals were tortured into "performing".

Slocum is such a hard-ass. So glad that Gonzo persists. Such a sad episode, but well done.

You didn't have to watch if it offended you so much...
@@catherineannelockman3805I didn't watch it as I'd seen it before and was disgusted, so knew what was coming. I moved on to the next episode.
Today there's no animals in circus, not in the western world
@@אריאלוהדספרציק Thank you. I'm very glad to hear that. :)
