- Best known as the creative force behind the animated sitcoms Family Guy, American Dad, and The Cleveland Show, Seth MacFarlane is also a rabid music enthusiast, frequently using his shows for interpretations of his most beloved show tunes. The Grammy-nominated artist's love affair with standards continues with his fourth album, "In Full Swing." MacFarlane wraps his rich, expressive baritone around 16 toe-tapping tunes he handpicked, utilizing his near encyclopedic knowledge of songs from the era. "In Full Swing" is irrepressibly upbeat about cupid's arrow finding its mark.

Half hour interview just isn't long enough. Feel like Seth is that type of person who you could sit and talk to for hours about any multitude of topics.
I kinda hate what the interviewer said about how Seth “gets to be a professional singer.” It kinda invalidates it and makes it seem like Seth isn’t really talented, but he just gets to sings because he was already famous, when in reality he has a gorgeous singing voice and absolutely deserved a singing career.
I get your point and agree with it, but I think what the interviewer is getting at it is that until you actually listen to his music, his image and his brand isn't that of a singer - but an actor and a comedian, and you rarely have a trio of actor/comedian/singer. When you first listen to him there's that feeling of "Holy shit, not only is this listenable - it's also quite clearly talented." Like Seth Macfarlane isn't just 'acceptable' as a musician, but he's every bit as talented as a musician as he is in his other roles.
Every day before I start my day I listen to Seth MacFarlane signing "My Way"
The Orville season finale was amazing! Congrats on the success of the Orville, Seth McFarlane.
i agree, The Orville is a fantastic show.
Macfarlane*
15:31 Great point. I loved serials like Breaking Bad and People v. OJ, but I've never rewatched an episode. Meanwhile, I'm constantly rewatching anthologies like Trek, Twilight Zone, MST3K.
He’s adorable
excellent interview, loved the questions
Can I just say... love him. Like absolutely love him
Seth is who James Franco wishes he could be...
?
He still has those chairs... Mr. Burr won’t be happy
That's what I was thinking too lol
Seth Macfarlane is top tier like Childish Gambino
OMG we have the same taste in musicals! I love musicals too and I would love to act with him. I feel the same way about television watching and it is true that I rarely watch some of the newer shows over and over again. Fortunately Orville is one of those shows I love watching over and over again week after week. I am grateful that he keeps finding new ways to show more creativity and more talent
Alysia Victoria Parker yeah no one cares
I never noticed before, but Seth and Elon Musk kinda look alike...
Yeah but Elon Musk is gross
great interview
How does he not just own Fox by now? He's the only reason people still watch Fox, right?
Piper Wright Disney owns that bitch now
Disney is much more powerful and has better lawyers.
You guys both know I wasn't serious right LOL
Disney situation is far more messed up and bonkers. Just research Disney as a business. Its kind of scary. Reality is far more crazier than a Joke.
Love him
Legend
Hey it's the chairs bill burr joked on lol
Great interview but it went out of sync and it’s distracting. Wait did the interviewer call Frank and Co. the “brat pack”?
It certainly did sound like it.
He did... but the interviewer is a typical clueless millennial... Imean, he called "The Sopranos" and "The Wire" "the early Golden Age" of TV... SMH...
"these fockin chays"
He is such a cutie... uwu
How is Disney gonna own family guy what will that be like maybe Seth will but the rights
ANA they don’t own family guy they own fox. Family guy is just on fox
honestly, i wish he started an internet politics show more than anything. tired of bill maher
Great voice! Not a fan of that style of music!
I hate myself too seth
Seth’s albums are covers of old songs lol
