I really like your videos. You got dam good music at the right time and not all the time , when it's time to hear the real sounds of the motors. Thanks for the video , Larry
That was us coming in after the storm we put in at Deland and had to sit the storm out around Astor, my boat was so full of water it would barely plane off, had to pull the plugs to get it all out for the run back to Deland.👍🏻
I wld love to see more walk arounds and motor build specs on the boats...also missing some old v hulls with 2.0 or 2.5s...just my preference but love the vids
I live in Phoenix Az, I own a mint Bullet 20xd with a Mercury Sports Xs 225 sports master, does 83, I wish I could be where you guys are, I can’t fully enjoy my boat cause the lakes suck out here, big boats, big waves suck!
Lots of round ear choppers and a few lightning ET style props. Any reason for not as many cleavers? Me, I like choppers because it's easy to pull up the bow at speed over rough water and I'm rarely over 90.
Cleavers are really not good for anything other than all out top end on certain hull's. They generally don't plane off very quickly and are even worse when ya have some extra people or extra stuff with ya.. **Now semi cleavers, like the Yamaha Drag style props are AWESOME!! My favorite propeller out of everything I have ever tried was this performance propeller Yami copy that did amazing on like the 3 or 4 boat's I ran it on! 🙏 Now on full, super lightweight tunnel Hulls like F1 and sst120 etc yes, full cleavers are great 👍
About to start finishing the restoration on a 1982 18' Action that my deceased step-son started. Could you be kind enough to pass my info along to Action owners that you know. My original post is on "Scream & Fly" under my name - Ron W Right now redoing the Arrow trailer. It even has a "Shelby" winch. So everything in the rig so far is from companies that no longer exist. Which I find just added to the ambiance of the build. Thank, Ron PS - Can't wait to join you all one day on the water
I hope the next one isn't a rainout! Speaking of rain, or hurricanes, you guys down in the Alva area....stay safe!!!! I hope the little island is washed away! Good luck from us near Orlando.
What happened, got a notification about some Hydrostream Viper build and then it said, "video private" when I clicked on it a few minutes later.. Gotta show this Stream off!!
@@weekendsonthewater cool, I'm Soo ready to see this, guess you'll probably make it a series, right!?! I've been on the hunt for something different, and although I would LOVE another Hydrostream, especially if I found a good deal on a Virage since my last one got scorched when our garage caught fire with my Virage rt next to it!! But this time I want a Laser, pretty sure I have a 380 lined up, which SHOULD be a good riding and driving V-hull!! ESP if I build this modded 260 block I have been trying to save for something cool.. Cool vids, it's great to see some new people getting into the sport!! 🙏🙏🙏👍👍

@@weekendsonthewater ya for sure, good to be busy with the real world. All the best
Man I'm jealous of you all living down there...
This video certainly brings back memories of my youth.
How much setback on that white GS? Not much? Looks like it needs a lot of trim to carry the bow?
After running it he found his motor was way too high
@@weekendsonthewater Ah okay, makes sense. Cant believe he didn't blow out and hook!

Yeah we like how the round ears cary the bow more too

Is that where the water goes from salt to fresh?
I would say majority of the fresh comes from up river but alot does come from this spring

82-83 mph is his fastest
