I have one question only. Is it possible to see ''Real-time availability'' in the calendar as well? I would like to rent out equipment. But instead of not appearing in the search engine when it's not available, I would like to still see the product. When I then click on the product, I can see in the calendar of that item when the product is available or not (dates are marked in red when its not available).

That looks very flexible and I'm looking forward to using it. I have just one question though:
In the above example, if a visitor books a room are the room details copied to the bookings table or are they just referenced by the room ID?
This relates to concurrency of data, I'm hoping that when the visitor books a room, the "state" and features of that room at the time of booking are immutable - so if a room is updated after a booking is made for that room, the order record will not be updated but will instead maintain the room details at the rime of booking.

Hello, Andy! The database table is created and on the 3rd step of the setup. Also, on this step you have the opportunity to add your own fields (prntscr.com/tzjh4z). And then, once a visitor booked an item, the info added to the Booking Form is also added to a database, for example, prntscr.com/tzjp8t
Basically this is a: Let's draw a horse, grab a piece of paper, well I already I done some of the work so we get this thing flow, next step that they show you: now you have to put it in a frame. Amazing Video about how to draw!

Hello Gema! Not really. JetBooking is based on one CPT which shows the Properties, for example, or any other item which is offered for booking.
Thanks for the video. Can I add prices for the rooms? Can I also add extra services like brekfast for the visitor to add if he wants to and the price would increase automatically? And finally can I add prices of the room depending on the month they booking? ( High and low season ). Thanks

How did you create the room to have multiple units? When I created a new room post type and went to add a new room, I do not see the Add Units section which you showed.

How can I create a calendar view for admin side to see for each date, which rooms are available?
Basically if we want to see which rooms or how many rooms are available, and which rooms are booked for those dates selected? Basically for reservation staff to view the details of the booking and availibity summary.

If I start from scratch - I want to build tours and tour packages website. What exactly do I need to buy to have all the functions? Thank you for your question! As far as we understood, you need the opportunity to book not just a trip, but also a certain time. As for now JetBooking doesn't have such an option.

Hello! I believe in your case JetAppointment plugin would be more suitable, as JetBooking is majorly for booking a property or equipment, or some other items for a certain term. If you work with consultations, JetAppointment allows setting the Service (Consultation) and Provider (Consultant) and lets setup the time slots. In the Booking Form the hidden field "order_id" must not be required on my site. Otherwise it shows "the field is required" and "One or more fields have an error...." on the single booking instance (room in this case) page. At 10:30 in the video.

Hello Gustavo! As for the seasonal prices, we're planning to add such a functionality. Once it's done, we'll announce it in our Changelog, and most probably a video will be done.
What about WPML, indeed, JetBooking implies operating in one language. The reason for that is WPML creates a copy of a table in the JetBooking database, therefore, you get two of them. The tables exist independently and can't retrieve changes of each other. As a result, a mix-up of booked items will take place. If you want to use only one language on your site, the labels could be translated here: prntscr.com/xasyy9. Hope, We managed to clear the things up.

I have a question which I have in mind about the booking date. is that possible to set the booking system to not book for the current day ( to start available booking days from the day after today )? and also to make it for booking minimum days to be starting for 2 days and more?
Unfortunately, as for now there're no such options with JetBooking.

When using the Unit Manager, is it possible to book multiple units at once? I am working on a bike rental page and people should be able to select eg. 4 bikes to rent for a specific date.

Yes indeed. Lets say we are on our single post page for our booking object "bikes". We have 10 bikes of this specific type. This can be done by using the unit manager without problems. So 10 bikes can be booket seperately for a specific timeframe before the pages shows them as not available.
So far so good, working great!
Now lets say a couple wants to book two bikes. It would be very helpfull to put the number 2 in the booking form at our single post page and then block 2 bikes from the unit manager for that specific date - instead of blocking just one or having to fill the form multiple times.
Can we do this? Would be pretty neat for other bookable objects, too (eg tools)
Could you give у some advice? In my case website for guest home. So only have one type of room but it is assumed that the cost of the reservation varies depending on the length of stay.
I want to to ask in the form:
- period of stay: 1 week, 2 week
- date of arriving
- fixed deposit,
is it possible in today's version of plugin?
Hello, Aleksey! Basically, you can create any field types in your Form. For example, you can use the Calculated field type to add a Math formula to calculate the price depending on stay time. As for the dates, with JetBooking your customer selects the period of booking a house (check-in/check-out). Regarding the fixed deposit, I'm not sure how you need it to perform. Do you want your clients to type in the sum they agree to pay?

Hi! Thank you for getting to us with this question! In order to enable Units Manager, you need to adjust Booking settings beforehand. Navigate to JetEngine> Booking and assign Post Types (prntscr.com/qoy5c6). After it was set and saved, go to the Post itself and locate the Units Manager: prntscr.com/qoy649 :)
In the search plugin query, you put "chekin_checkout" as variable, this isn't even written correctly and from where do you take this variable that you put it there? Is it the variable from "booking form? Since to me the filter isn't working.

The WooCommerce integration option allows you to connect booking with the WooCommerce checkout, so after booking the service the visitor will be redirected to the online payment. Also, you can see your orders not only in WooCommerce orders but in Bookings also.

@@tagfat thank you for coming back to my request. I finally got it to work without dropping any table. I disabled and enable the JetBooking plugin few times, followed the documentation but I created the form manually instead of getting it automatically created. And then I was even able to see the right table in the database but I did not touch it.

There appears to be a lack of fundamental functionality with regards to pricing!! Virtually all businesses in the Hotel / holiday home rental sector have different prices depending on the time of year or season.... not having this functionality in such a plugin kind of makes it redundant to a large sector of your potential market. The plugin has been out for some time now... Is there a plan to add this basic functionality? I believe it has been raised by numerous people as a feature request through GitHub.

Thank you for your question! Unfortunately, JetBooking can't meet your requirements in full: the form will be able to check whether a service has been booked for a particular date. Currently, it's possible to select a date range. Also, as for now, there's no integration with Google places.

Hello! No, the iCal sync means that when you book a property via JetBooking functionality, upon successful Form submission, you'll get see this booking appeared in your iCal

Hello, this vid is from 4 years ago. I am currently not seeing any "unit manager" options in jet engine/jet booking. Has this been sunset? If yes, is there a replacement? There is almost no documentation on the internet about unit manager.

The booking is only done after getting into the single post content.
Is there any option available for direct booking after clicking the book now button?
Booking is performed from the Single post because it needs to be connected to a certain item in order for the booking mechanism could work as intended.

Its never work with me and no control for Rome numbers and prices, also this an old video not the right setup for the new jetBooking. it's so crowded and not user-friendly other plugins are amazing

@@kloul , well it can't be exactly like Airbnb, but you can use the Profile Builder functionality to allow submitting products from the front-end. As for the taxes and fees, you can create a Form and envisage its fields with taxes on a backend. JetBooking also comes with WooCommerce payment integration, so users can pay for the product they book at once.

@@Crocoblock Ok - I will try to explain my usercase and the question that arise from that. I will be also be happy to help in any way to make the information material a bit more useful. I think a lot of people will have use-cases for this other than booking hotel rooms. My guess is that you made the functions based on a hotel use-case, but now has something with a lot more potential, but then needs a bit of tweaking in the information material and perhaps in the setup. Like changing from "Hotel bookings" to "Bookings" in the menu.

Hi! You can create a meta field for your CPT and complete them with the prices ;)
To all people that want to buy it. If you are thinking to buy this plugin because you need it for hotels or properties that have different prices according to the season then don't buy it. You can't set different prices making it totally useless, unless your prices never change (quite impossible in the tourism industry). I bought this plugin taking this option for granted. All was going well till when I found out this vital feature is missing. So go for it if your prices never change. Don't if they do. You would waste money and a lot of time.

@@Crocoblock From what support wrote me seems it is not going to be that near (she said it wont happen anytime soon). And this is a pity as a booking plugin without these options can't be used for any tourist business that must have different prices according to season or have the need to manage the calendar (opening or closing dates etc etc). Trying to find an alternative.

Hi and thank you for your comment! As for availability - as soon as a room has been booked, a new order is created in your WP dashboard. You have the opportunity to edit it in case you need to change the dates or customer's info. Here's a part of our tutorial: prntscr.com/pv922i. In video its not totally Cleare for Beginners. for do this one you must install also Booking Plugin. Make sure you must use JetBooking & JetEngine plugin keep right version. then you will seen if you go to JetEngine>Booking bellow Unit you must activate. if you are following this tutorial you must add the table like Additional table columns = Available-Units and fill the arritional details. use your post type name all drop down menu. @@Crocoblock need to integrate with woocomerce 100% and roll access / нужна интеграция с woocomerce и управление правами + проверка вывода при наличии заказа иначе приходится использовать toolset, будет интеграция можно будет отказаться от других плагинов. так же сделайте связи как в toolset, с возможностью создавать связь из родительского поста без выбора по 3 символа (это костыль). Надеюсь это будет в кратчайшие сроки.

Jet Booking isn't worth it, eg:- we can't add booking form for rental services, and they had developed this plugin for their requirements, lot of errors and broken functionalities are the main feature of crockoblocks, with this money we can find a developer to build the add-on that we need...
Even though jetengine ia a nice one expect the problem "Repeater field for CCT is just an Gimmick" because we cant output repeater field data for CCT and we can only find it while designing listing loop after adding repeater fields and data...
Total wast of effort and money plus loss of our reputation among our clients :(.
Can I ask why the lack of seasonal pricing hasn’t been addressed in the plugin…. Such a critical element of functionality as recognised by yourselves in the comments, yet over a year later this has not been added!! Quite disappointing it has to be said.

@@Crocoblock Jet Engine is amazing...., and this tutorial explains a lot, but for many of us, we need step by step. This tutorial assumes we know what meta fields to create. And most of us have no idea. Explaining a list of all the meta fields used in your example helps us keep up with what you are doing. We understand that we can also add other meta fields later to suit our needs. But to give us a basic list that you used in your example would really help here.

This almost as bad as it gets in tutorials.
Which is really a shame as the plugins are great and have no or few alternatives!
There are several problems:
It is not really a step-by-step tutorial, as the needed steps are not shown.
Instead we get random "selected items" that are hard to follow and poorly explained.
Also a lot of what shows up on screen is created out of thin air by the magic of video editing.
The custom post type, room is one example, but there are many other things that are not made, but just presented as finished products.
This is not the main problem though. What makes this "tutorial" so bad is that nothing is explained.
There is no overall introduction to what is being made or how it will work.
What is explained is also explained in broken language, that is not so much bad English as a bad representation of what we need to know or understand.
Most explanations are also very abstract.
There is no order to the presentation.
There is no list of what will be explained.
One important but bad explanation is also complicated by the advice to "don't make any mistakes as you cant correct them later". This advice relating to the table created occurs halfway through the video. Maybe put such information at a point where it is not too late for some to take note.
But overall I would suggest that you give up on making tutorials. You should instead ask some of the qualified youtubers to make the needed tutorials and offer any number of free giveaway licence codes that will motivate such efforts.
It is a really great set up plugins that are needed by a lot of people.
But the tutorial here and other bad examples are not helpful.
The point is not the the plugins are bad - they are not. But that tutorials is not your strong side. Get help. Please!

For the booking system to work there needs to be some kind of array, that stores each set of date-roomtype-room combination in a "table".
So how do I make that table work for my needs:
How do I make it store different values for different instances:
One item (consultant) is bookable only on three days a week?
On each of those days it is bookable on 6 different timeslots?
A column for _day, one for _timeslot and one for _consultant_name?
I also need to know how to manage default weeks setup for each consultant.
How to ad days to default setup. How to remove for holidays, etc.
