- Got a new balance haul for you guys today. Picked up a pair of 990v1s, as well as a pair of sweatpants, from the New Balance x Teddy Santis capsule that release on 4/28/22.

I went true to size (TTS) at 9.5, and they were borderline a little too long. I usually wear TTS at 9.5 with NB 997, NB 997H, NB 550, and NB XRCT. These run just a little bit big IMO due to a slightly longer length, as well as a thinner ankle padding, giving you more room in your foot.
You can very much get away with a 1/2 size down. I definitely recommend you go 1/2 size down if you have narrow feet.

I got a size SMALL in these sweatpants.
Waist wise- they fit well. But length wise, they were a little too long for me.

Can’t lie I’ve been wanting to buy some of their sweats for a while now but wasn’t sure about the quality, this video covered everything I needed 👏🏻 even the height side of it, I’m 5 11 so hope it does work for me to 😂 the kicks are dope as well, great video boss 👌🏻

$150 is quite an expense for a single article, but I definitely would not rule out spending that amount on sweat pants in the future -- especially a pair of this quality!

Hey mate, cool video! Definitely looking to purchase one but im new to NB sneakers and was hoping you could give me some reference for the size. So for my jordans im a size US 9.5, is it similar in sizing? Or is it worth going down to half-size since its slightly long?
Depends on the NB model. I would actually go 1/2 size down on these 990v1s though . I also wear 9.5 Jordans, so I should’ve went 9 on these . I have other NBs at TTS 9.5 and it worked out for me tho. Good luck 👍

I would go half size down for USA made. They’ll be wearable but heel slip like that will be that lil thing that makes you not grab these when heading out

Most clothing brands cater towards taller people unfortunately; it’s easier for shorter people (like us) to cut fabric off, but taller people unfortunately can’t buy short clothes and add fabric on haha. I often times just get my pants tailored or do it myself 😅 I made a tutorial on how I shorten my baggy shorts sometime ago

Nice, I have an older new balance x aime Leon dore hoodie that’s still one of my favorites. If you get the sweatpants, as long as you’re tall and like the relaxed fit, then you definitely won’t be disappointed. Thanks for watching and for the comment!
Did your sweats shrink in dryer?
Only washed once in cold water, tumble dry very low for only a brief period. That’s me erring on side of caution, so no shrinkage yet haha

Yeah those shoes feels about a half size up which is actually perfect for me, in fact, 1st NB that fits to size:) The tongue is surprisingly thin, but it's more like an easy feel rather than uncomfortable and here in Tenerife is great for ventilation

Thanks for reviewing the sweats. I'm definitely interested in the made in USA apparel by NB, but the price tag seems a little high.
Similar American made essentials can be found at a better price. From your video the material used looks amazing, but I'm not entirely convinced that is enough to warrant the price tag.
Gonna have to think it over a lot more before dropping that much on a pair of simple terry shorts.
For sure bro🙏. I was very much considering the terry shorts as well, but the price is just way too much haha. You’re better off spending that $150 elsewhere . My absolute favorite lounge shorts at the moment are the ‘at ease’ shorts by Lululemon - very comfy, good quality, looks great w sneakers, and you get brand recognition for half the price lol . They 100% are a little long like you said in the toe area. I got true to size and should have went a half size down. That being said you can deff wear them true to size but if I plan on waking a lot I will probably wear something else. If your just going to a bar or someplace you ca spend a decent amount of time sitting they would be fine

Maaaan, i own 4 pair of the original 990 V.1 that released a few yrs ago( 3 are ds). As much as inlive them joints, i would never have paid $300+ for those, you tripping. Yeah, i hear you on the leather and suedes but naw, not them
