Tim Ryan, Darby Langcaster...and Cory Toole
exactly the three names I was thinking only minutes ago after watching the Tim Ryan try against the blues. His third try with the skip and the jump and the dodge and the swerve that no one will be able to beat! he steers the defender very slightly towards the sideline, but it’s totally believable, ie the line that he takes as though he is going for the corner. then by pure instinct times is direction change and doesn’t even need to come off the left foot with a jolt.

@@glenmale1748 Gee man, why don't you look at the actual video yourself before accusing others of not seeing things.
Pause the video at 1:10 and take note of where Lawson Creighton is when he throws the ball out to Tim Ryan (he's directly on the 22 line).
Pause the video again at 1:12 and take note of where Tim Ryan catches the ball (he's several meters in front of the 22 line).
Therefore the ball has drifted forward 2 meters.
It's not speculative, it's literally measurable.
Evidence is quite literally on the screen in front of you, with nifty lines to help you visualize it.
@@Waywind420 Three on-field officials, the TMO, 30,000 fans and I disagree with you. The tries are in the record books my friend. It was NOT forward under the laws of rugby. Take your complaint to the IRB and then trot off to Specsavers!

I mean that's incorrect, officials have stringent limitations on what they're allowed to do and how much they can input at given times.
They also consistently get things wrong, as is probably the most talked about thing in modern rugby (the state of officiating).
30,000 fans is generous, there's probably 12,000 at best and who says they all agree that the pass is ok? Am I not a fan and disagreeing with such notions?
There's no debate here, the try is based on a forward pass, water is also wet.
