Because of how easily controversy sells alongside shallowness, it is unfortunately easier to get the urge to prioritize preparing failsafes against them at the cost of self-loathing and lashing out rather than appreciating even the smallest treasures and see how they can make big treasures even when nobody believes in them. I mean, I feel like I'm likely to react like Bettel when it comes to receiving such support, especially considering my worries about being supported for the wrong reasons and by the wrong ways, which I feel is worse than being straight up hated for any reason at all. Still, I'm glad our jester is learning and doing his best to also show faithful appreciation for the support he receives and those who give that to him.
