This video gives a beginners lesson on both skin friction and end bearing type piles calculated using the effective stress approach. Reinforced concrete piles and steel H piles are also covered in this video. This analysis is performed with Eurocode 7 guidance, covering Design Approach 1 + Combination 1 and Design Approach 2.
