Like you I've heard that Robert Plant or Paul Rogers was the quintessential voice of the rock era. Well...I think this and the many other Glenn Hughes videos on UA-cam, not to mention his recorded output, put this to rest. Glenn Hughes is the best voice from the greatest era of rock (the late sixties and seventies) and he's still got it...100%!
Love this and Glenn Hughes. First saw him in Lubbock with Trapeze and they came back for 5 encores!! Then again at 1975 Texas Jam with Montrose, The Eagles and The Rollin Stones. What a show damn

Trapeze was one of my favorite bands growing up, but hardly anyone in the US was familiar with them.
In some ways, Glenn sounds better here than he did then!
His voice got better as he got older
Glenn is the real voice of rock, this vocal range has no other!

My older brother turned me on to the album "Medusa" by Trapeze. A teenage Glenn Hughes provided a jawdropping performance on vocals and bass. This was a strong, strong album. Released just a few months after Black Sabbath, there were the same epic sort of riffs. Great performance here, Glenn and band !
