Singer-Songwriter Grace VanderWaal rocks students at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo (a polytechnical college) on May 31, 2019 in California's central coast, with an end-of-semister free concert! Grace performed 15 songs in less than an hour (12 originals and 3 covers) and including two of her stunningly beautiful brand new unreleased originals!! This is Grace at her best. Her unique vocals and effervescent personality are only matched by her unparalleled writing abilities.

Grace's voice is even more killer than before. She is growing into a powerhouse musician.

I just love Grace’s gorgeous voice, she is the best! Thank you for this video!!!
I was worried at this show, Grace did great but her voice seemed a bit strained but the High as Hope Tour gave her strength back. I’ve noticed when she’s not singing a lot, Grace gets raspy and crackier(nothing wrong with it unless she’s hurting herself) but I do love hearing her long and strong vocals.
I believe this was the 1st public performance since feb21 so being a little rusty is expected especially do early in her career
Thawk 67 exactly. I still worry for her though, I think her vocals sometimes reflect the crowd and her mood.
She says the crowd definitely has influenced her performance, the I. D. tour as opening act can be hard but when the crowd was appreciative , she would relax and have good show, but when they didn't care , she reminded herself "they're not here for me" , its I.D. tour not G.V. , she had some shows with small issues but over all received rave reviews from I.D fans and music critics . Seems to have learned a lot about herself and has improved so quickly .

Wow! Gossip Girl is starting to sound BETTER than her Original of it! That's HOT! I think if she adds those pre Yodels and when she gets excited during the Song... That just puts it in Billboard Territory. That's what Fans love about her Voice. That Guitar is a Killer by Melissa! Yes! The Drums really Rock It! Go for it. Emphasize it, and Kill that Beat, and make it about a minute longer. Bring it on... Like when she yelled on AGT - I'm Not ...CLAY!
I think she's almost ready for Phase 2, (follow-up) and rerecord some of the best songs from her 1st Album... With a lot more Treatment in her slightly older voice, and with the help of her Band. Any of these established songs could take off, and breakthrough in a rerelease... With some updates. I can't wait to hear Studio Versions of her Newest Songs. I think: You're So Beautiful, could go very far... Once in the Studio.
Grace's little Band Play near the end of IDKMN, is an indicator that these songs have LOTS of upgrade Real Estate that can be added to bring them Forward... Or Room for different Versions of the Same Song... In the Future. A Re Intro of IDKMN with full Studio or Band Treatment, as we've even heard others do copying her song as a Cover... Can pick-up more mileage. It's the SAME for other singers, as they move deeper into the Industry... And rerecord some of their Original Hits with better instrumentation.
What creates 'traffic,' are former listeners telling friends, "Hey! Have you heard Grace's REEDIT of her AGT Golden Buzzer?' (It had over 116 Million hits the 1st time... That's Technically Higher than most singers on the Web.)
(How Famous is IDKMN?): It has already moved into Orchestration and Piano redoes by others... Even Florets... and you can hear the Lyrics in your head as the instruments carry the tune. (They are on UA-cam somewhere.) If Grace ADDS Instrumentation [Rocks It] with the Lyrics... All the way across the Song... It might get some serious comparison Hits or Play.
I would like to see her include Hideaway among her Shows or Albums. Adults love the Song too. It is a GREAT Uplifting Song, from Wonder Park. (Tell the Audience what it's from.)
And she has a Poetic License. I'd love to hear her sing it as the Radio Version. That includes the Steel Drums and Heavy Bass. Don't be Shy Girl... you Intro'd it on Radio Disney, and it went and is still going Pretty Far. I'm crossing my fingers it gets Nominated as Best Song in an Animated Film, next year. :)
But... I guess We haven't HEARD what's in StarGirl yet! :)

She is writing and performing Grammy level songs but that's okay; the Grammys don't really reflect reality. Though I would love to see Grace's acceptance speech if they accidentally discovered people who deserved an award.
