Alhamdulillah what is the point of a 5*. A 3* is good aswell. The whole point is to spend as much time in makkah & madina not have a comfortable time in a hotel you will forget your purpose of being there. I believe you should spend as much time as possible out and about. get a cheap hotel brothers & Sisters
I stayed in pullman zam zam 3 weeks back, it matters if u have health problems, pullman have maintenance issues, bathroom sink didn't have drainage pipe, so had to manage everything in tub, pullman seemed 2 star, even 3 star hotels are better, Ac freezing and quilt very thin, no bulb in bedside lamp, so can't read quran in room, all ladies can't stay in haram all the time because of health issues, just think before criticizing, u stay in 3 star , they are good too, as I said pullman had problems, and changing of two lifts is very challenging, walking in hotel is much, lifts are far from pullman, it took 20 minutes from room to kaaba, in medina , the 3 star hotel was much better than pullman, no changing of lifts, 5 minutes walk to masjid, so people decide keeping in view many things, we can't forget our purpose or going to harem if we stay in 5 star, people do not book 5 star for luxury.
I agree with A. A. I used to stay in 3star hotels, but now I have difficulty walking. Also, people who can afford the 5 star hotels, can stay in them surely? I will not recommend Pullman Zamzam either. Rooms need repair /upgrade. Breakfast was terrible n choices limited. Madinah's 3 star hotels by far exceeded Pullman Zamzam. Distance from Haram to room was too much walking@!

Generally the case re check-in... after Asr/4pm. If not busy period, the hotels in Makkah allow u an earlier check-in at no additional cost, but it is best to check after booking the room if this, will be the case. Hotels usually have 24h Reception desks functioning. The Swiss Hotel is relatively new hotel, very close to the Haram, with quite big rooms but very small bathrooms.

@asmabadrulla192 unfortunately neither. I chose Hyatt regency instead. I heard the other two suffer from queuing issues on lifts specially Namaaz times that's why i chose Hyatt.
@@msg4naz I went with Swissotel this year and didn’t face any issue with the lift not even at the time of prayer. Plus the Kaaba view was just mesmerising.
Music while going to umra does n’t match .pls delete the music .it sounds weird .atleast there must be a place in this world with out music .like mecca madina pls spare mecca 😢

It's more closer to haram conrad it's not that far but from swissotel it takes only 2minutes to reach MASJID AL HARAM.
