    Great video MaShaAllah! Just for reference, the exit you pointed out is actually to Swissotel Al Maqam which is different than Swissotel Makkah BUT there is another exit to Swisshotel Makkah that takes you almost directly to King Abdulaziz gate instead of going from inside clock tower - both exits are good depending where you're trying to go. About to go watch your other videos, thank you!

      Yes I found this out later! You are right. I showed the other exit through the street in my other umrah videos. JazakAllah for your comment :)

      MashAllah! Isn’t it the best view in the world? We had an awesome experience in this hotel. Didn’t have dinner but I’m sure it would be amazing just like their breakfast ☺️

    MashaAllah very beautiful. Could you please share your experiences with the kids as I have kids of similar age. I wanted to know know how you cleaned their bottles , was there a kitchen in your room and how did you keep the Formula Milk cool enough when outside. Thank you

    • @khanlifestyle94
      @khanlifestyle94  11 місяців тому

      For cleaning bottles, we didn’t have a separate kitchen in the room. I basically washed the bottles in the washroom. I boiled water in the kettle slightly just to warm it up and then added formula. If I was giving regular milk, I would warm that slightly in the kettle and that would do the trick.
      As for carrying formula milk outside, I wouldn’t make the bottles beforehand as it would probably get ruined. We would carry bottled water with us or get normal temperature Zam Zam water from the Haram and carry a small box of the formula with me. Whenever my daughter needed a bottle, I would make it on the spot and it would usually be regular room temp.
      Hope that helps :)

    Sister may I ask if we can make multiple umrahs with just 1 umrah permit in nusuk app ?!
    Do they really Check the umrah permit ?
    I am planning to do umrah after 2 weeks In shaaAllah

      @khanlifestyle94  Рік тому

      JazakAllah for appreciating! I try to do my best to make it enjoyable & informative🥹
      My husband did two umrahs and they did not check the umrah permit. I believe they check very heavily at some gates but the gate by which we entered (king aziz gate), no body checked.
      May Allah accept your ibadat & umrah ☺️ please kindly remember my family & I in your Duas 🥰

    I’m wondering about vaccination requirements. It’s unclear if anything is mandatory for umrah. Do you know?

    • @khanlifestyle94
      @khanlifestyle94  10 місяців тому

      JazakAllah for watching! For vaccinations, we informed our doctor of our travel and depending on the place you are travelling to they have a list of vaccines needed. For Saudi they didnt' have anything. I would advise you confirm with your doctor to be on the safe side. :)

    MashaAllah such a beautiful video and well explained. May I know sister, why did you decide to land in Medina instead of Makkah from Canada?

    • @khanlifestyle94
      @khanlifestyle94  Рік тому

      JazakAllah for watching🥰 we decided to go to Medina first primarily due to the jet lag especially with young kids. We wanted to settle in and adjust to the time/weather/environment and then be ready to perform umrah in Mecca. Hope that helps 🥰

    Assalamu Alaikum sister. May Allah accept all you ibadah and duas. I love your videos as they’re very informative and needed. I will be travelling in December In Sha Allah with a 1 year old from UK. I’m so worried about what to feed my baby during my stay. I usually cook from scratch at home for my little one. Could you please advise how you managed to feed your little one? Any lunch and dinner ideas and tips? What grocery stores are trustworthy and has good quality yogurts and snacks for babies? I’ll really appreciate your response. JazakAllah Khair. 🥰

    • @khanlifestyle94
      @khanlifestyle94  Рік тому

      JazakAllah for the kind duas. So for travelling with my little ones, I made sure to carry cerelac or baby cereal along with fruit pouches & baby formula (even though I was breastfeeding my youngest). Along the way if we bought fast food etc, we made sure to always get fries and a mild burger/fish sticks for the kids. I would basically mash up whatever we were eating for my 6 month old and feed her that way.
      There is a supermarket in both Medina & Mecca called Bin Dawood where you can find baby items like diapers, baby cereal, baby pouches, snacks etc (its a bit expensive but we didn't really have any other choice).
      Travelling by road from Medina to Mecca, there is a station called Sasco Petrol Station where drivers stop to fill fuel and there is a grocery store there where we bought milk, yogurt & snacks like cookies for the kids. While in Medina & Mecca, we bought milk and yogurt from Bin Dawood plus these items were available in our hotel breakfast options.
      Keep in mind, the yogurt in Saudi tastes different. Both kids would hardly eat it but at home they eat it a lot. So there is a difference in taste. You just have to test and try.
      I have shown almost everything I mentioned here in my vlogs, so please watch them to see all these places and details. Insha'Allah you find it helpful! :)

    Masha-Allah, very informative video. Just wanted to know is there a good time to perform Umrah when there is bit less crowd? (I know it’s always crowded😅)How did you managed to touch Kaaba? What I have heard it is really hard get close to Kaaba and you have to literally fight for it.

    • @khanlifestyle94
      @khanlifestyle94  Рік тому +2

      So we would check on tv even before leaving Canada (live kaaba videos) to check when it would be less busy. We found that between 1-2 am it’s not that crowded and doable.
      If you have kids, especially small children please don’t attempt to get close to Kaaba as it’s very tight and people really push. I went to touch Kaaba alone without the kids and it was a lot of pushing and shoving.
      Just one request: I went with the intention that I will not push or hurt anyone to get to the Kaaba. Alhumdullilah Allah gave me a smooth way to get there. So please make such an intention and avoid pushing people.
      I am 100% sure Allah will make it easy for you to touch the Kaaba. Insha’Allah!🥰

    • @soulfulremind
      @soulfulremind Рік тому

      Cool noted! I checked live Kaaba videos and my plan is also to perform Tawaf at 1-2AM. I also noticed that 7-8AM is bit less crowded but as you confirmed, then I think I will go for 1-2AM time :)
      One more query though, read on some forums when you call a cab/Uber to your hotel (Swissotel) you need to provide cab drivers some sort of entry code. Is it true?

    • @khanlifestyle94
      @khanlifestyle94  Рік тому +1

      @soulfulremind yes, about the chit note I will be posting a video explaining the process insha’Allah soon

    • @soulfulremind
      @soulfulremind Рік тому

      Thanks, I will be travelling next month. It would really helpful. Any videos in plan for Ziyarat of other places in Mecca/Medina?

    • @fkarmadi
      @fkarmadi Рік тому +1

      @soulfulremind that's correct. You have to provide license plate number of uber/private taxi to front desk and they will give you a permit. You can send pic of the permit to the driver so they can enter the lower level arrival area. Without that permit they won't be able to enter the hotel for pickup.
