wheres part 7!!! ur so good and thank you for your info dude id like mke a world and like live for abour 20 mins but bcuz of u its been like 2 days and my civilization doing great looking really forward to part 7 after all these years !
I haven't even considered it truth be told because I didn't know these videos were still getting traction. However, I'd LOVE to make more content for Banished! One of my all time favourites! Thanks for letting me know you would like to see more, more to come! Cheers!
I just discovered this game and watched through all 6 of these videos, which did help a lot! I'm still having several issues though with food and firewood constantly running low (even had a couple citizens starve to death). I've got 14 farmers actively working through the crop seasons. I was fairly unlucky at the start and only had 1 crop seed and one orchard seed (I was sure on a previous attempt on medium, I had 2 crops and one orchard), and my starting points keep getting penned in pretty tight by the river, tributaries and mountains, leaving very little space all together. But I am up to 61 citizens at this point. I do feel like some things (like my forest gathering buildings) are kind of far away from the main town. Seems like it's going to take a very long time to build this up but I'm still plugging away at it.
Hopefully soon my Hubert, truth be told I wasn't aware people were wanting this to continue! I will try to get another part for you soon, glad you enjoyed! Thanks for the comment!
You really need a Herbalist bad, your citizens are not very healthy - only 3 hearts. Thank you for this series of videos and not being afraid to show your errors.
Hi, i recently started playing Banished because i really like the economy strategy games but i couldnt find one that was fitting me for a long time but i found Banished so im happy, your videos are really helpful, without them i wouldnt be able to make any progress, but there is still much more content to learn, it would be good if you find some time to make another tutorial. I usually dont subscribe or like the videos but this time i did, there isnt many people doing that good videos, most of them even tho they have a lot more subs they still make bad, boring videos, i hope you'l keep that content as good as it is. Sorry if i messed up some words/sentences but i still learn english, it isnt my primary language.
Don't you worry about your English at all, its perfectly fine! I understood everything perfectly! And thank you so much for your kind words! It really means a lot hearing those types of comments! You guys humble me every single time I receive a comment like this! And yes! I will specifically find time to expand on all my series! I owe it to you all for the likes and subscribes! You all are the reason this channel is slowly, but SURELY growing! Means a lot, and stay tuned for part 7 my friend! Until then, if you have any specific questions that I could help answer on here, absolutely don't hesitate to ask, and I will be sure to get back to you! Thanks again, cheers!
@@videogamearchitect7462 oh, hearing nice words is a great feeling, Its really hard to find a good tutorial on this game, ive searched for a long time and i could only find tutorials from 2014-2018, and still yours were the best i could find.
@@red0tf285 means so much hearing that. That's all the encouragement a channel needs to keep going! Keep that positive attitude up, world needs more of that always. Hope you and yours are doing well and staying safe out here my friend!
Hey man love the channel! you got my sub! Quick question why do farms reach production limits? they arent harvesting all the food from them and im not sure why.
That sounds like you need to increase the allowed food production limits! When you click the farm, or any food producing building you should see an option to raise the production limit! It's either that, or you may not have enough storage for the food, but truth be told even if you don't have enough storage, they should still finish harvesting and they would just end up leaving it outside of the warehouse. So, I'm pretty positive you just need to increase your production limit my friend! Hope this helps, let me know if it doesn't, I will elaborate further! Thank you so much for the subscription btw :)
Hello! How would you go about against infestation? I bought two cattle and within a few years, there was an infestation and all of them died (unlucky!). I heard the same can happen for crops as well :/
I believe that this is an issue of rotation possibly, if cattle are anything like crops you have to rotate the crops every other year or so or else the chance of infestation is greatly increased! I hope this helps solve your issue! Cheers for the comment!
Hey just wanted to let you know something I just found out the other day. I'm the one that was probably asking too many questions in my last comment but the herbalist works better away from the foresters cause they do better with trees of old age
Oh wow, I had no idea! Thanks for the heads up man, I appreciate that! This is the best part of having a UA-cam channel! You get to grow and learn with the community! Btw, you DEFINITELY didn't ask too many questions! Don't want you feeling like that at all! Bring them on, the more the better! Cheers man! Glad to see you're loving this game!
@@videogamearchitect7462 I have also tried the tip definitely production went through the roof also the hunter cabins dont need woods just place them where you see the most deer
The market was a pointless resource sink. Nobody wants to live with a noisy, smelly market outside his front door and the neighbors walls touching his. You could have manually selected the biggest trees with the most wood for collection. If this game conitunued on, the whole continent would get bulldozed and replaced with square fields.
Make sure that you are placing them together at young age between 16-35ish, after a certain age they will stop producing children and if you don't have enough population to continue you can run into a wall! Hope this helps!
What do you do about lack of stone? I even built a quarry to offset having already harvested all the stone in the area and it was so slow to produce anything it didn't seem viable.
So, I hear your struggle! I would always just clear as much as I can in the closest areas possible in beginning game....but once you have a decent size population, where you can assign at least 10 workers to the quarry, it SHOULD produce a decent amount steadily. However, I hear what you are saying about it not being the most productive thing in the game.. It requires quite a few workers in order for it to be a viable option. Hope this comment helps, thanks for the comment!

Your failure episode would be my best time yet! Show us more!!
This video needs to be added to the Playlist for Banished!!! Good job on all the videos - love them!
Awesome, appreciate you giving me the heads up! Added up now ;) and also, thank you so much for the support! Many more builder videos to come!

LOL it's a game, where these thing have no impact on the game, however, these things really do happen in real life.
i have problem whit over producing food and people dying to old age, not many kids. any advice?

you need to build more housing for your pop to grow. just don't do it too fast or u will run out of food and other resources fast.

@@videogamearchitect7462 Fair enough, thanks
have you bridged across to other areas? this may seem like dumb question, but some may not realize u can go to other lands.
Do trees regrow??
they do naturally and slowly, but you can also set ur forester to grow or cut the wood or both.
Thank you so much for all 6 very helpful videos! ^^ Hoping to see more!
