On commercial job with lots of open space I could see....but in a tight residential house seems like the hose would get in way constantly......I know because it does when I use my nail guns
I've run the Aplatec system and it was way faster than standard auto-tools. It paid for itself in saved labor costs on one 7000 sheet commerical job. Two of us usually put 20 buckets of mud on a day. NO CRAP!
20 seems low since I've done 10 boxes by hand in 8 hours. But yeah 20 boxes as day would easily pay for it's self and then some! But yeah 20 boxes as day would easily pay for it's self and then some!
A little bit of common sense is needed here folks. You are only going to invest in this type system if you regularly do jobs that would benefit from it. I have no personal experience with these, but have been told by guys that do, anything less than 500 sheets, it's not worth dragging it out.
the bazooka is light but the hose will get real heavy once its all filled up with mud..plus these continuous flow tools are expensive as fuck. I wouldnt buy this crap
