India has strongly objected to remarks from the US and Germany on the arrest of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. A spokesperson from the US State Department called for a "fair, transparent and timely legal process" in the matter. Germany echoed the same message when questioned on Kejriwal's arrest. In response, India rejected remarks by the US and Germany, calling it an "interference in India's judicial process." Following this, India also summoned a top US Diplomat and Germany's Deputy Chief of Mission. The controversy was triggered by the Enforcement Directorate's (ED) arrest of Delhi CM Kejriwal in an alleged liquor policy scandal. As someone from Goa who has lived peacefully despite our own set of problems, I understand the frustrations. However, blaming the government entirely may not be the solution. Instead, let's focus on constructive actions and supporting the leadership. There's merit in learning to support the winning mandate for the betterment of our nation. It is wrong to say Kejriwal is in Jail, he is in ED custody and not in judicial custody.
It is allowed by the judiciary. ED cannot keep him in remand if the judiciary doesn't allow it.
And if judiciary has allowed it then it means that there are some proofs and testimonies against Kejriwal.
