After a couple of weeks off from doing the cottage renovations, Its back to work as the weather has turned and put a stop to outdoor work. Tracy Is excited to be continuing with the bathroom renovation. First the plasterboard needs to be fitted the a look at the layout, but Terry has a couple other Ideas. All the pipe work Is fitted for the shower and bath, plus Tracy gets a wonderful gift which has just arrived at the right time.

About us,
We are a family from the North-East of England following our dream to restore a beautiful abandoned french Château. We discovered the heart stopping Château De Lalacelle in summer of 2020, this beautiful architectural monument Is set in the countryside of North-West France.
The moment we visited the Château we all fell in love, from the beautiful sweeping landscape and forests, to its stunning untouched interiors and magnificent spiral staircase in the turret.
Unfortunately Château De Lalacelle has been abandoned for a number of decades so will need a lot of restoration and DIY.

Tracy- All this work and look how its coming together! We girls appreciate the value of a beautifully done bathroom. This is going to be a reward and sanctuary after a long days work. I think there will be numbers drawn to see who goes first! But you should have the honor of the first hot soak, using all those lovely items gifted to you. I am NOT KIDDING ..... about 15 seconds before the ' do not disturb ' plaque was unwrapped .... ( honestly ) I thought all that is needed now is a ' DO NOT DISTURB ' hanger .... that's spooky .... what a beautiful gift box to receive .....

I find that if I switch up projects a bit, especially when working on a long term tedious project, I get more sense of accomplishment overall which keeps me motivated. Last year, I restored the bronze port lights on the inside of a 40+ foot sailing yacht. I grew to hate that job due to the tedium. The finished job looked amazing, but getting there--I wish I could have switched my focus now and then, let's just say. It's not like you have a team of people knocking out projects with you. Your work will take years, and even then it will never be complete.

Tracy I am a bit behind on this journey of yours but I was thinking what you need is bath "Goodies" for when the bathroom is done. Not that your men won't enjoy it too, but you are the only woman there and sometimes it is difficult not to have another female around to share things with you. I have to see all the other vlogs too, I missed having a cottage as well! 🤭 Seeing this, I understand how well this castle and cottage fits the family! What I really like about your parents is they are playing an active role in your lives. Wich isn't always naturly for parents! There so commited to you both. I just love to see that! I recognise so much. There's just so much to do, sometimes you don't even know where to start. Every step is a step forward for its for the better...and should be giving positive energy.
