With a open view like that you might be able to get the advertised distance out of a set of frs Walmart walkie talkies 😂 watching all these ozark videos makes me want to load up and head out there next
LOL... might still need to add a coat hanger antenna to make that happen! 🤣 This overlook was really neat because of the waterfall below... it sounded like wind, but it was rushing water. The rain shower and steamy roads were cool, too! I'll be headed back to the Ozarks again soon on either the Trail 125 or the XT250 to do some adventure camping and riding back into the deep woods. 👍 --QM
You're smart to keep to the far right of your traffic lane. It's very common here in Arkansas for every 5th vehicle you meet to be over the center line in your lane. I think that's caused by cell phones. They try to drive down the middle of the road so they can text longer without looking up and not run off in the ditch. Whatever the reason, it pisses me off. I've lived in Arkansas for most of my life and the general driving skill level has never been so low as it is now.
Those crazy cagers are everywhere... it's like a zombie virus! I will never understand the fascination or NEED to mess with the cell phone while operating a vehicle... it just doesn't compute for me. Cheers! 👍 --QM
Greetings, Aaron! It's nice to see you posting again. I was wondering about you and glad to know you are safe and still at it. BTW, I eventually purchased the Honda ADV150! So far I am very pleased with it and ride it when I can. I've posted a few videos on it already and will have lots more to come. Once I saw the ADV150 in person I was sold on it. Pictures simply don't do justice. Take care and be safe out there!
Howdy, Scott! I had an ADV150 on hold for me at my local dealer, but I decided to pass on it because I already had 2 other PCX150's. The trade-in on the PCX's was awful, so I didn't want to end up with another scoot in the stable that might not be ridden as much as it should be. However, as it turns out, the Trail 125 (CT125) was announced just a week later, so I had the dealer move my money to that little mule instead! Now I'm anxiously waiting for November, but we probably won't actually see those bikes here until Jan-Feb of 2021... we'll see! Cheers! 👍 --QM
Great videos. I own a 300cc Kymco scooter & did a 1100 km camping trip in North Queensland Australia last year. Safe to say I didn’t encounter any other scooters the entire time I was riding 😆 Your videos have inspired me to go further afield - I’ve got my eye on a 3000 km trip into Outback Queensland once the wet season is over. Keep the scooter adventures coming you legends! ✊
Thanks for the feedback! We had a really good time on this trip with the PCX150's. We took another trip a couple of months later on our Super Cub C125's that was even longer... 2088 miles (3360 km)! You can see the first of that series here if you're interested: ua-cam.com/video/Pe-y2vKVSi0/v-deo.html . Cheers! 👍 --QM
Its nice to see you in video's out and on the road again. That bumpy unpaved road did not look like fun. I did not insure my Honda bike this year. I built an Ebike and have been riding it all over the place. The electric bikes have won me over. Just a tad bit. Good to see ya.
Thanks for the feedback, Herbert! We had a good time on the PCX150's, even on the gravel. They are uncomfortable to ride on those roads because you can't stand up to unload the bike's seat, but we did ok. Congrats on the eBike! I have a couple of electric scooters that we use for riding around the neighborhood and to the nearby market... they are a hoot to ride. Cheers! 👍 --QM
Yep, your suspicions are correct! I just completed a 7-day, 2000-mile trip on the Super Cubs in Arkansas and Missouri with another local Cub owner. We took them through lots of twisty mountain roads and a few gravel trails... no problems at all. I'll be editing and posting that ride series very soon. Cheers! 👍 --QM
Neil said that he has swapped or replaced the belt a few times, but it ate the belt near the end of this trip. The trailer is surprisingly light (around 35 pounds), but it gets heavy with all of the gear loaded onto it... probably in the 75-85 pound range. Cheers! 👍 --QM
Absolutely... I already have two CT125's reserved! We don't know when they will finally arrive in the USA, but Honda has stated that they are available in November 2020. We'll see if that timeline holds true. 😉👍 --QM
🤣 LOL! I thought about it while I was there in Arkansas, but those hills made me reconsider that idea. Some people have ridden those C3's across the country in the Scooter Cannonball... WOW... that's a lot of punishment to endure. --QM

@@QuasiMotard my current bike is a dr350 so if I go I’ll definitely be looking for the end of the pavement as well 👍
I ride this area at least once a week! Thanks for the show.

@@QuasiMotard The CT125 looks like a fun ride indeed! I look forward to some future videos. ;)

I’m biased ,but me thinks the Super Cub would’ve handled that trail like a champ.

I surprised the zuma belt holds up while pulling that trailer up hills, its only ate 1 so far I think
