I mean I get it…but he also said on his podcast with Henry Cejudo that the only reason Max won is because he broke Justin’s nose….by kicking him in the nose?!?… The thing is fighters teammates and coaches need to stop coming up with excuses for them. Yes Max poked Justin’s eyes twice. Justin also then agreed to keep the fight going? Yes Justin had a hard time breathing throughout the fight …. The eye pokes absolutely played a factor in the fight. Justin is just a badass. a ‘BMF’ if you will. But make no mistake, the eye pokes were a factor.
