+BoojaxD I literally get chills every time I hear the "fus ro dah" followed by their awesome music. Skyrim is definitely one of the best games of all time and their trailer shows it wonderfully. What I love about it is none of it's exaggerated. Unlike many other games with trailers that set unrealistic expectations it's sadly become the norm to ignore, everything we was looked amazing in the Skyrim trailer and was all actually in the game. The only thing different was the sound of the Unrelenting Force shout we've come to know and love. I wish shouts sounded like they did in the trailer but it doesn't make that much of a difference and considering that and the lack of storage space(I ran out of saves before beating Alduin because I'm a compulsive saver if I have the option for seemingly unlimited saves) is all I have to complain about, for a game as grandiose as Skyrim.

It's not easy for a company to claim something like that, it means a lot of commitment to do a very high quality job, but it can also be a problem because not having a strict deadline che became a curse over the entire project. Duke Nukem Forever is probably the best example of how thing can go terribly wrong when that it's your mantra. That said I have complete trust in CDProjekt RED and I'm sure they will do an AMAZING job with cyberpunk 2077. ;)

Karn Phutanate Delivering Hope from Reach is by far my favourite one. That trailer just summons an unknown sense of amount of courage and bravery and life and feels I thought I never had before. The trailer music and sounds animation team etc just did a really good job on that one to really convey a deep sense of emotion and courage and sacrifice on that one. haha.
TheGloriousNosebleed the Deliver Hope trailer for Reach does a similar thing. Though, I think it requires the viewer to at least have played the previous Halo games; and most certainly helps to have read all the Halo books. If you've done all of the above, that freaking trailer is like a punch in the gut. It sucks. I love it.

No, guys. It was almost complete. Bethesda wanted to buy out the developer, Human Head Studios (who also developed the first Prey after 3D Realms, and the Rune games as well) but Human Head wanted to stay independent. There was a corporate fight, Bethesda retaliated by refusing to publish that version of Prey 2 (whose trailer this is), and indefinitely halting production until they selected another studio to redo it completely from scratch. It's such a bad set of circumstances ;( At least Human Head is still independent!
Prey 2 will see the day of light. Bethesda is still trying to get it released, plus it has a cult following. Definitely the Alan wake of the early 360 days, very underrated game, with a large cult following.

The Deus Ex trailer was very well done, but probably deserves to be on the top ten list of any best-of-trailer list, but I feel that Gears Of War (while familiar now) was so ground breaking in it's choice of music and mood at the time that it's easily one of the most influential trailers in gaming history.

They use live action is a lot of the more recent trailers, since Halo 3.
Karn Phutanate Delivering Hope from Reach is by far my favourite one. That trailer just summons an unknown sense of amount of courage and bravery and life and feels I thought I never had before. The trailer music and sounds animation team etc just did a really good job on that one to really convey a deep sense of emotion and courage and sacrifice on that one. haha.

TheGloriousNosebleed the Deliver Hope trailer for Reach does a similar thing. Though, I think it requires the viewer to at least have played the previous Halo games; and most certainly helps to have read all the Halo books.
If you've done all of the above, that freaking trailer is like a punch in the gut. It sucks. I love it.

For Dead Island.....I do my best to stay strong when watching that trailer, the song that plays while it shows what happened to a good and adoring family is just very hard to keep strong for a little girl to be attacked like that :( If anything happened like that where I go for a holiday all the time then I'll make sure that my daughter stays where me 'n' her mother goes

Bethesda wanted to buy out the developer, Human Head Studios (who also developed the first Prey after 3D Realms, and the Rune games as well) but Human Head wanted to stay independent. There was a corporate fight, Bethesda retaliated by refusing to publish that version of Prey 2 (whose trailer this is), and indefinitely halting production until they selected another studio to redo it completely from scratch. It's such a bad set of circumstances ;(

So was the game.. The only complaint If any, is its not a FPS, which is my fav.
The Deus Ex trailer was very well done, but probably deserves to be on the top ten list of any best-of-trailer list, but I feel that Gears Of War (while familiar now) was so ground breaking in it's choice of music and mood at the time that it's easily one of the most influential trailers in gaming history.
