Knowing that Chapter 2 came out, honestly I found it ironic knowing that Berdly doesn't despise Susie at all, but instead falls in love with her. I love that chapter and this animation.

I really like how I could somewhat relate with Susie, that you could feel bad for her and want to be her friend too. That those simple, funny, and cutesy scenes just warms the heart, ya know? Wow, even after chapter 2 a lot of the characterization here holds up surprisingly well! A lot of things that happen I feel can happen later on in deltarune, and mostly with that talk with Susie about her social issues and how she has grown to start liking to make friends now, that sounds fitting for the story of deltarune!
Predictions: Susie wants to stay in the dark world When you're in class Toriel is talking with Mrs. Alphys Noelle wants to help with the project Berdly after school will go to the librarby
(i'm only on part 1 right now lol) This felt really in character! The scene where Susie and Kris are in the hallway mirrors the events that take place there in the original game, and I think that's a nice touch. I like the characterization of their classmates, and it makes me think about how it's going to be like in the final game. I only kind of wish Kris had a speaking line, but then again he doesn't really talk in the game.
Kris: The creepy and oddball one Susie: The traumatized lesbian Berdly: clueless bird-brained Nerdy boy Noelle: The sweet and smart californian girl Temmie: The kid who's always jittery and comes to classes with whatever they want and uses those things however they want, glitter, glue, dolls, whatever their interested in, no one can and/or does stop them from taking it in and doing whatever weird thing they want to do with them Monster Kid: regular American school little kid protagonist, Luigi or Diddy Kong as the main character vibe. Cool ice Bird: "Guh Huh! I'm funny, aren't I? Guh Huh!" Cat Girl: Goth Jockington: tries to be a Jock, but hasn't got the arms to do so, so basically sock puppet pretending to be a jock Me: A noble trickster jester wildcard who routinely succeeds as often as Wile E. Coyote or Waluigi to achieve his over-ambitious goals, especially his constant goal being friends or at least on good terms with everyone and teaching and being an overall role-model or even a hero to others, though he does have loads of smaller victories in these goals he doesn't usually appreciate these at the beginning until he gets home and eventually begins to identify these little victories and appreciates them. He does have other major academic goals, though at the end of the day since he works so hard and eventually eases out As and Bs he doesn't worry about them as hard as his social life since he constantly sets aside time and even integrates the assignments throughout his social life. EmperorSheep: The kid who doesn't work towards achieving any social ambitions without someone to get him on it. Oftentimes jokes about being on the same level as Sans as being lazy, despite working just as hard as I do with school work once he's done with school work, he chills out with his tablet watching through UA-cam or playing games. Overall incredibly kind and can be motivated rather easily either by being pressured into working hard though will shirk off duties or find an easy way through. Basically, unambitious and Shy yet kind and is willing to work hard if he knows it's necessary. Basically, Shep would be just the kind of person who would just be in the class to get the grades and occasionally talks to other kids, though is extremely approachable and is a social wizard. I, on the other hand, would be working with multiple different goals to achieve. To be continued... I need to wait until my mom stops watching Star Trek in order to think straight.
Love the story and animation so far, can't wait for part 2! A slight recommendation though, maybe try to make the text interactions go a bit faster in future parts (the pauses between them are a bit long).
