You can tell that Hunter has learned from the Monday night wars in regard to focus on developing your brand instead of worrying about the other brand. That was one of the major downfalls of WCW. Also he is looking much better. It is good to see him up and about.
And HAPPY. As he said in the interview, there's two type of wrestlers that retired; ones that are sad and feel like they have more to go, or ones who completed their journey and are happy with what they did. Undertaker and Triple H are in that category.

It is insane to see the change in HHH in interviews from where he was as a wrestler in the day to running a show today. He gave a solid answer. You can't 100% watch them, but you can be aware of their existence and generally what is going on there.

Vince wasn't born rich, nor was he a "rich boy" He made WWWF a New York territory inherited from Vince Sr and turned it into a multi billion dollar company by the time he retired.
Inheriting a business doesn't mean success, he still had to work, and Vince Jr worked in his father's company and turned it into a juggernaut it is today.

AEW is what like in its 4th or 5th year? They’re still learning how the business is supposed to be run. So no it’s not real competition for WWE. WCW was different it was a territorial organization that had changed names and owners for decades before it became a threat to WWF during the Monday Night Wars.
I would like to see him do that the attitude era is not coming back also you don’t have that quality of wrestlers as you did back then. One reason that was the last era actually learning from other early legends and wrestling them as well in other companies. Promotion based wrestling actually had more talent per say then now which lead to ppl developing over longer period of time vs now.
HHH is doing something Vince should have done when his father swore to all wrestling promotions that he or his son would not compete against them but Vince did! So HHH is saying there are, people who will watch AEW and like it, some may watch WWE and like our product. People could be consuming a whole different sport to watch, like football, basketball, baseball, especially when they're in season. But there are also other TV shows and movies out there, whether they're on another streaming service or it could be a big Marvel movie coming out that weekend. In the entertainment business, everything is competition.

I’ve watched AEW, and I just can’t get into it. It just feels like they are trying too hard, and it just gets really cheesy honestly. Personally I much prefer WWE. Their production value is much better and refined, and the in ring talent isn’t screaming into a mic all the time lol.

Only way it could happen is if by the end of the night the score is tied up. Which would be hard to work because A: one company would have to be entering the main event with a 1 point lead. Therefore, if it would most likely have to be Aew With the lead, so they wouldn’t lose the main event on their own ppv bcz that could lead to some heat from the hardcore wwe fans on whoever the wrestler is who lost such a high caliber match. B: if WWE goes in 1 point up and loses the main event it would have to be a really show stopping extravagant match that leaves fans happy regardless the outcome. Triple H and Vince didn’t get along, thats why HHH ended up being relegated to NXT. NXT started to outshine Raw and Smackdown and Vince shut it down. Vince is old and set in his ways. And senior citizens tend to be set in their ways. HHH is still young and feels the need for change. People were seeing Vince as a bad guy since Attitude era, he literally made a heel gimmick of himself into multiple storylines. But after he stopped playing character, people were still aware that he is behind many questionable decisions from booking and releases to camera angles and specific moves being pushed.

The swerve Strickland stuff is pretty cool though. I honestly wasn’t much of a fan especially after punk got fired but I watched a couple swerve promos and the whole AEW product is definitely improving.

I don’t think AEW is competition. It’s a different audience. hHowever, they have paid attention enough to sort of copy some of AEWs stuff like the media scrum they do after every PPV. All of a sudden WWE is doing press conferences after their PPV. Can’t tell me that wasn’t a direct copy of AEW.

Both Tony Khan and Triple H aren't wrong. I believe John Cena said the same thing also. Everything is a competition to them, not just wrestling. People could be consuming a whole different sport to watch, like football, basketball, baseball, especially when they're in season. But there are also other TV shows and movies out there, whether they're on another streaming service or it could be a big Marvel movie coming out that weekend. In the entertainment business, everything is competition.

I’ve watched AEW, and I just can’t get into it. It just feels like they are trying too hard, and it just gets really cheesy honestly. Personally I much prefer WWE. Their production value is much better and refined, and the in ring talent isn’t screaming into a mic all the time lol.

This could or could not be a thing in the future but I feel like it’s kinda appropriate to bring this question up which is could we see a Survivor Series PPV where WWE and AEW go head to head to decide which is the better company.
That would be great for business, but it will most definitely tarnish AEW then it would to WWE.
If WWE was ever in a position to buy out AEW that would be the only way a Survivor Series angle would happen.
Love the idea but theirs NO WAY that WWE would allow AEW to win the night on their own PPV. I definitely think it's more likely WWE and AEW could work together with HHH in charge though.

A: one company would have to be entering the main event with a 1 point lead. Therefore, if it would most likely have to be Aew With the lead, so they wouldn’t lose the main event on their own ppv bcz that could lead to some heat from the hardcore wwe fans on whoever the wrestler is who lost such a high caliber match.
B: if WWE goes in 1 point up and loses the main event it would have to be a really show stopping extravagant match that leaves fans happy regardless the outcome. I feel like a tornado 8 man tag match could do that trick. 4 top aew stars Vs 4 WWe top stars.
It would be cool to see a survivor series type of ppv, maybe not necessarily call it survivor series, but wwe, aew, new japan, aaa, etc. could have an interpromotional thing, a committee team to book the winners. If it was organized right it could work

Ive notice ever since Triple H took over, people been anti Vince very hard. Its almost like people were numb to all the bad decisions and now that Triple H took over, they realized WWE actually can get better. Triple H was just spewing BS the last 10 or so years I guess to butter up Vince. "Yeah this is the best stuff ever" lol. He should bring back everyone who disagreed with the way they was running things the last 10+ years.
Triple H and Vince didn’t get along, thats why HHH ended up being relegated to NXT. NXT started to outshine Raw and Smackdown and Vince shut it down. Vince is a jackass in this day and age. 20-30 years ago, Vince was the ONLY genius. It worked then. But you can’t keep using the same BS with fans because the fanbase changes with time. Vince is old and set in his ways. And senior citizens tend to be set in their ways. HHH is still young and feels the need for change. Eventually HHH will become like Vince and then we’ll need a new leader to entertain the fanbase.
People were seeing Vince as a bad guy since Attitude era, he literally made a heel gimmick of himself into multiple storylines. But after he stopped playing character, people were still aware that he is behind many questionable decisions from booking and releases to camera angles and specific moves being pushed.
Alot of people been feeling this way this isn’t new maybe to you

The swerve Strickland stuff is pretty cool though. I honestly wasn’t much of a fan especially after punk got fired but I watched a couple swerve promos and the whole AEW product is definitely improving.
I hate saying it but Paul is looking really weathered now. I know the heart ordeal weighed hard on him but I think the business is really taking its toll now that he's behind the wheel more.
