Hog Eating Time

Earlier in the month, my friend Marc took me on my first hog 🐗 hunt. I got to meet Ben and Cody, amazing people who took us out to hunt and relax for the weekend. What an experience! Marc and I each got a hog 🐗, gutted them, and took them home. I went to Marc's place so he could cook me a sample of his hog 🐗. WOW!!! I was impressed. He made a gumbo-style dinner with a nice dark brown roux, hog 🐗 stock, chipotle chili seasoning blend with hog 🐗, venison sausage, and shrimp over rice. AMAZING!!! Then, I got to enjoy a beautiful sunset 🌅 on the way home from his place. We decided to have a family fry for my hog 🐗. We kept it simple, frying the meat with Tony Chachere's after it was fried. DELICIOUS!!! Then we had some sausage and fajitas, yummy!!! One of my nieces celebrated her birthday, and of course, we took naps as needed. It was a great time hunting, cooking, meeting new friends, hanging out with my family, and looking forward to many more to come.
