Did you notice a sound signature difference between the wired headphones, and the bluetooth model over a 3.5mm while drumming? It'd be nice to get the bluetooth headphones for use out and about, but then be able to plug them in and drum after.
These sound good. I find the ones I got don't isolate me enough from the sound of me hitting the rubber hi-hat and bass drum (especially with the protective sticker they recommended me put on there). I feel like they don't get loud enough either - I have my Simmons SD1250 module volume on 10 on both the master and the headphone volume. They headphones I got are a studio monitor kind with 250 Ohms or something... does that mean they have a lot of resistance? I'm not an electrical engineer, obviously. Just curious. (my headphones are the Beyerdynamic DT770 Pros)
Higher ohms means higher resistance. So yes, higher ohm headphones will be quieter than lower ones, generally. However the type and size of driver inside the headphones, placement in proximity to the ear, all have an effect on the perception of volume.
Following Demonic Sweaters on Spotify now. Thanks for sharing what you use headphones-wise. I saw this brand just yesterday and might've passed on them if you hadn't thrown the recommendation up there. I'm checking them out now. I assume since you wear glasses, you don't have any issue with undue pressure? Also, how has no one commented on the Mac Tonight shirt?! Awesome.
@@demonicsweaters Oh yeah, the classics 7506. Those were my other option cause they are really flat but I wanted a mix between flat and easy listening headphones. And I hate the ear pads on the 7056 and I love that the 770 cover all my ear and have velour earpads
Actually ! I’m not a fan of low budget headphones BUT no lies detected here yall ! When I first got into edrums I was balling on a tight budget and I caught these on sale for about $17 on Amazon. I started with a closed back pair for a little more sound isolation and it’s been about maybe 3 years now and they STILL sound great ! I’ve had them blasted full volume forever and they haven’t gone down in quality at all. If you can’t afford any of the high end headphones these are your best option. They really are super underrated. I own a few different high end brands and these sound better than a few of those. Great recommendation! This is subjective but I own a pair of the regular and the closed back and I find the closed back option to actually have even better quality than the standard. Either way you can’t go wrong with these. I keep a pair of Odios and AudioTechnica headphones at the kit.
When you said $30 my jaw dropped. This is the first video I've watched on this topic and I was expecting you to come in with "These are affordable, about $200" 😂
Mmm. A little late. I got BeyerDynamics DT 770 Pro 32 ohms. My most expensive headphones to date. Why do you have so many ? Do you break them a lot ? What is your preferred headphones for mixing ?
@@demonicsweaters I play 2 to 3 hours every day, so the phones are on and off a lot. I really like the sound, but the headset gets soft, and they don't hug your ears anymore. Looking into metal wire frame maybe for the next set. Any suggestions?
@@demonicsweaters Probably going to go with the Sony Professionals MDR 7506. Already have 1 set and like the coiled cord. Sound is pretty clear, and a lot of studios use them and also for their guests so should be durable. They are around $100. My head banging days are over.
This is fantastic news, I got these awhile ago and ended up shelving them. Just got an old V-drum kit and needed headphones.

You know, I haven't actually tried my silver bt ones on the drums. But I would imagine they sound fine.
@demonicsweaters If you ever do, let me know!
Got a pair in red, they work great w e-kits, thanks 👍
Thanks for the video. I'll have to pick up a pair.

Thanks so much man! No issues with my glasses at least. Hope you like the headphones!

Awesome! Yeah my blue pair I’ve had for a couple years now and they’re still as good as new too!
Thanks for the review. How good is the sound isolation while wearing glasses?
It's fine for me, but everyone is different. I have pretty little ears haha.

They're crazy good for $30!

I just wanted the different colors. I like Sonys for mixing, I mention them in the vid and there’s a link in the description.
Thank You for the Video. Is this the OneOdio Pro-50?
No, these are a step below that model. I haven't tried the Pro-50s, but they look great.
@@demonicsweaters Thank You
What do you mean by mixing?
blending multiple audio sounds together is called "mixing"
@@demonicsweaters okay
Thank you! Whats the cable length in cm?
I’m not sure what the length of anything is in centimeters 😂
Oneodio is what I use. The headphones rumble pretty bad with my simmons SD1250 when I use kick or toms. Any ideas to fix?
Hmm, I've never had that issue. Which model do you use?
One Odio sound good but don't last. Went through 2 pair in less than a year. They wear out and fall off your head.
I’ve had all of mine for longer than 2 years now with no problems. Never had a pair fall off my head, not sure how that’s even possible.

@@The_Tronic_Drummer Not sure, I mean there's loads of brands out there. I tried the ddrum ones once and thought they sounded terrible.
