He is best probably known for his pioneering single "Teenager in Love" and for having co written his daughter, Kim Wilde's biggest hit "Kids In America". However he has had numerous hits through the decades and written numerous hits for other major names in the industry including Status Quo, Lulu and Hot Chocolate.
