A big thank you for taking the time to share your experiences, fantastic videos that we thoroughly enjoy watching, keep up the good work and enjoy your travels..
At your spot at 11:10 I was fishing from the towpath early one summer morning and a huge Stag with full antlers about 8ft tall from toe to tipnof Antlers came meandering out of the trees and spent a good 45 seconds looking me up and down! Fantastic experience.
I love the drone shots you add to the video. It gives a nice change of perspective. Pat, it looks like Eileen does all the work. If you run out of fuel, do you throw a rope around her and make her pull? 😂😂😂
Michael W. Salter - 😂🤣😂, Thanks Michael, at last an acknowledgement that I actually do most of the work! Thankfully we have never yet run out of fuel, but please don’t give him ideas! 😳. Thanks for watching and commenting!👍

Glad you’re enjoying the vlogs, like you binge watched a few Narrowboat vlogs before buying our boat. You can’t beat the English countryside whatever the season. Stay safe and well! Thanks for watching and commenting!👍
Thanks for that guys just travelled down from the outskirts of Wigan today went over the canal. Did a stroll down the Ulverston canal on Sunday. It was interesting to see but obviously not connected to the network as it was only accessible via Morcambe Bay but good to see another disused canal being brought back to life. Take care.
Cabin Cruiser Adventure - it certainly is , love hearing about restored canals. We were sorry we didn’t get to see more of the section of the Lancaster canal that is under restoration, but it rained constantly when we were at Tewitfield. Thanks for watching and commenting 👍
Hi guys hope your both well, another great vlog 👌, some of the views are stunning.lm a bit late replying as lm also painting my boat, nearly there she’s looking good, take care kind regards R👍
colin woodward - Hi Colin 👋, welcome to the Bickerstaffe family! The Leeds and Liverpool is a great canal to start on as you have locks, tunnels, swing bridges and lots of twists and turns to practice, along with some great views!! Thanks for watching and commenting!👍
Escape To The Cut - 👋 Hey Guys, hope you’re good! We’ve just gone through both those areas and stopped at Haigh Hall where we had a great walk. We also stopped just passed Red Rock where it was lovely. Any other tips for future mooring? We are currently at Withnell Fold, great walks and an interesting village! Thanks for watching and commenting!👍
Kath Roscoe - Hi Kath, yes, we have decided to repeat the Leeds and Liverpool again because we only did half of it last year and didn’t see the point in doing the half we didn’t do then turning round to it again. Also we looked at it as our training ground so hopefully will see it differently this year. ( Also without the water shortages) 😂. Thanks for watching and commenting!👍
Colin T Head - Hi Colin, yes it is an Osmo Pocket camera. Pat is still trialling it out, he hasn’t used all the features yet so is reserving any judgment! 😂. Thanks for watching and commenting!👍

@@ournarrowboatquest4894 we also were saying that I couldn't do all what you do, on the lock gates-could manage the walk and that's enough for me :)
Some of those lock gates can be really heavy Sylvia , especially to get started. Keeps me fit though and better than going to the gym. 😂🤣

Lovely video as always. Are you doing the whole of the Leeds and Liverpool again? I live near the Johnson's Hillock flight - pretty around there.
Kath Roscoe - Hi Kath, yes, we have decided to repeat the Leeds and Liverpool again because we only did half of it last year and didn’t see the point in doing the half we didn’t do then turning round to it again. Great vlog , how on earth did they get that motorbike on the roof of that barge ? Lol
lori thorpe - I absolutely have no idea😳😂. It’s amazing what some people keep on their roof! Thanks for watching and commenting!👍
Hi you two. The chain is so the bridge can be pulled shut from the off side if it has been left open.
also handy when single handed
Thank you both, as we have never had to experience being a single hander we didn’t know. Thanks for clarifying!
Is that the Osmo Pocket camera I see you using, great cameras, I've had one since January?
Colin T Head - Hi Colin, yes it is an Osmo Pocket camera. Pat is still trialling it out, he hasn’t used all the features yet so is reserving any judgment! 😂. Thanks for watching and commenting!👍
Thats a fit young lass you have there Pat. Why not throw her a rope and turn the engine off seeing has Eileen loves walking the towpath. 😂
tonyvidtube - Don’t give him ideas Tony! If I didn’t walk the tow path I’d get very little exercise! Thanks for watching and commenting!👍
