Procession for Spring Valley Firefighter Jared Lloyd

Spring Valley Firefighter Jared Lloyd made the ultimate sacrifice on March 23, 2021 while heroically rescuing elderly residents during a massive blaze at an assisted living facility in Spring Valley.
Residents lined up on the roads of the funeral procession to pay their respects to Lloyd. The Red Knights, a motorcycle group made up of firefighters lined both sides of the street in Hillcrest to give a final salute to a fallen brother.
We will never forget Jared Lloyd's sacrifice to our county and community. Simply stated, Rockland County was a better place because of Jared Lloyd, and he will be forever remembered as a hero.
