10:26 I like that Mirrorwatch went in this direction with Rein and Brig, where damaging their barrier gives them an offensive bonus. (Doom too, but he already had it since his change was getting a barrier in the first place.)
The Rein change is something I've been considering for a while, just in different variations. If his barrier was nerfed down to 1200 hp, then for every 400 hp interval there could be a breakpoint that activates a speedboost, damage buff, or damage resistance. Then you'd get three of these boosts total and be incentivised to swap shield and hammer more, instead of only getting one boost when the shield is completely broken.
Something I discovered was incredibly op was abusing sombra to boost rein. Not only does he move faster, he also swings faster. Both my friend and I are rein mains and concluded that all rein really needed was some fucking speedbuff so he didnt felt like he does nothing with that 1.2k shield of his
for the last 2 heroes (im counting venture and space ranger) but they already revealed the heroes like 4 seasons before one of them will come out
I want a surprise, but also a surprise that will fit into the lore. Venture and Space Ranger (thought we don't know much about them) both feel very shoehorned into the story and that feels very rough because of how much every other ties in with each other

@@Luciferthekingofpurgitory I never mentioned kiriko. Because I as I said, the last 2 feel very shoehorned in. Yes that is why venture is here, but that doesn't help the case. Kiri is also hella shoehorned in with the age they gave her, but if you fix that she at least makes sense, even if she feels like someone's OC write-in. Illari also don't make much sense as to why they joined up, so yeah I didn't mention 2. But I was just connect recents
@@imminent_gans also space ranger is just someone from lunar space colony no different from wrecking ball or wonton and venture is connected to anubis which is the general overarching plot of overwatch making them connected to talon zen rammatra overwatch etc
@@imminent_gansI was under the impression that a lot of the hero’s in the roast are not aligned with overwatch at all. Hanzo and Hammond are good examples of this. I know Kiri joined overwatch but I’m not sure if illari joined at all idk

9:00 i think the mitigating damage for ult charge should only be considered for rein, since he can only ever do one of two things, and if he isn't doing damage, he can't build his ult. Although, i think it should definitely be at a reduced rate compared to damage, you don't want to encourage the playstyle of always shielding until u get ult, not sure what the numbers would be, or how that would work out, but yeah

1:40 Easy way in my opinion is to have players get "locked" onto the new hero from things like priority queue as a reward for staying in a scuff game, or after NOT leaving a few games in a row getting the new hero, but also being allowed to swap off. It just puts you on the new hero instead of no hero as the typical. Also the hacked event with double hero can allow everyone to try the new hero. Just food for though there is a lot blizzard could do if they so pleased, and a lot we can ask for as a community instead of just complaining.
10:38 Lmao, what about: Divide Rein’s shield into 4 quadrants, each one has X health, and breaking one still leaves 3/4 of a shield; the shield quadrants only recharge while the shield is down.
If every quad isn’t 2000 then people will just shoot Rein…

Crusaders Rage: Either when Reins barrier is destroyed or when his health drops to 20% he gains a temporary fire rate and damage mitigation of .5 and 20% respectively for 5 seconds. After so the passive effect will cooldown for 13 seconds (if this is too much the passive lowers his speed by 50% for 2 seconds. If thats not enough make the passive ability have an ultimate gain lowered during this brief period.

Rein having the same movement speed as nemesis Ram makes sense...... just give him that speed boost, so hes not useless without a lucio.....
Going from 3900 dps player in OW1 to tank player in OW2 for 8 seasons and hitting GM, to hating tank in season 9. Dps felt a lot better in season 9 but it required readjusting again, I have been really burnt out from wanting to learn the game seriously again like i once did in OW1. So, yeah... lack of grinding to climb the ladder and having to readjust to different roles because the game has been having pretty big changes making certain roles feel not so pog. It's good for the game though, makes it feel like a new game with big changes, except that some roles feel horrible to play. I am now sitting at a nice D1-M5, D1 games i smoke but M5 > 30% i get rolled and smoked.

I went 4 and 1 last weekend and lost sr and have not turned the game on sense and yes I was solo and I know its % nnow old habits lol

im not very good at ow but I will say that the quality of my plat ranked games are so much better than they used to be. Dont get me wrong its still plat, but finding a plat tank that takes advantage of speed boost was near impossible, now its mostly my fault when they dont use it. This makes the games much more enjoyable as in I can actually see when i play well vs badly.

Emongg I'm noticing a corruption on your sound, a crackle or static whatever we can call it. 19:23 (where you say "impractal- impractical") here is an example and it happens a lot. You might want to check your mic levels or filters, its kinda unhealty for ears. GL HF :)

Nobody wants to play 5v5 all venture or any new hero. They want the regular OW experience to really see how the new hero feels.

Don't get me wrong, I also think just mitigating damage shouldn't build ults, but considering eating ults is a bit of skill expression, shouldn't it also be rewarded?
I'm just throwing out a wild suggestion there though.

Hot take: Zarya’s primary fire should charge a frontal shield similar to a heavy assault stormtrooper rather than having bubbles. Remove bubbles entirely. Her secondary fire could be a shield beam like OG Sym. Then she can have actual abilities, like a deployable shield or something.

10:00 if you get ult charge from healing why dont you get ult charge from mitigation? I get nothing from mitigating 20,000 damage unlike a Moira who can do 20 K and build 10 coals.
Because mitigation already denies enemy ult charge.

Honestly, this is why OW is starting to suck, there is literally nothing that can be done to make tank more fun to play without it making it “unfun” for other roles, or some how making them too broken. I’ve heard so many suggestions and it’s always refuted with how it would ruin the game. So what? Tank is just meant to be a chore? Because I’m not coming home at night from working 7-8 hours, do house chores just to hop on a game and feel like I’m doing more chores, in that case I can just delete the game now and save on the next battle pass
