I enjoy watching your fish adventures every week. I love your catch n cook videos. You and Melanie have the best recipes. You need to do a Cookbook. Hope you guys were safe during the hurricane.
I live in Central PA, I wish we had places close by to fish like that. All of our bodies of water are fresh water, dams, and reservoirs. A lot of catfish, lake trout, and bass, strippers. I have never had a chance to fish in any saltwater area. Heck, I have only seen the ocean once. I enjoy watching you. The rocky areas look similar to ours.
What do you use to catch strippers? I've heard $20's work the best but that can get expensive. Its best when you can get them to take $5's and especially $1's.
Brant I just wanted to tell you that my wife and I have now gone fishing on Tamiami (from Tallahassee) several times and have done very well because we watched your videos lol. Catching snook with flukes is the best.
Love the huge variety of fish you caught there Brant! Always intriguing to see some of what's available over there in the states, freshwater and salt. Tight lines to ya and keep up the vids!
We're in Pensacola ( evacuating from helene) and I've been following you for a while. So it's cool to be here. I'm going to try to get over to beach bum outdoors.
The Cone Starts at Mexico Beach , Are they that uncertain or way overly precausious, Sounds like DC got involved . But you don't want the entire Panhandle evacuating , A lot of people have no clue , and drive into the path. @cam4862
Also, I just hit the fishing trail, across from the boy scout trail over in gb..wasn't prepared but am hitting it again next week and see. I know nobody over this way! Lol
My first time watching north channel. I used to do a lot of fishing when I was younger and gave it up. I haven't fitched for a while. I'm enjoying watching you. And I've never had black drum before. Sounds good.
The fish at 8:48 is a Houndfish, not a needlefish. Also, needlefish aren't nearly as aggressive as a Houndfish. They are also much bigger than Needlefish.
To make it more interesting show us where you eat an what you eat if you know what I mean, it's just like fishing, fishing but I still love it man I'm from Trinidad... Bless..
Brandt, gotta love your content and your candor! Truly good guy! I’ll come by the tackle shop on our next trip to Pensacola from Dallas! Happy New Year and may God bless you, your family, Brad, Bum and their families in 2025!
Love the kayak fishing, I live in Huntsville, AL and fish for catfish from a kayak. I’ve been wanting to come down there and try the fishing from a kayak.
Only video I watched where Brant loses his cool. Both times it was. When he’d lost big fish. But that’s ok because it proves he’s human. I would have lost mine as well because they looked like good sized fish. Love your videos so keep the great work.
I loved seeing that little war mouth, on a fishing trip with my parents and maternal grandma who never threw back a fish unless absolutely tiny too many kids to feed for that, she caught a little warmouth. As I started to clean the fish I noticed that the little warmouth was still alive, so I filled a foam cooler with tap water and threw him in it. FISH, as my toddler God brother named it stayed alive for the next 3 years eating worms and bugs , which he would come to the top of the water and take gently from your hand. During the cold winter months we would put a dozen or so small minnows in and he ate them at his leisure. A biology professor who was a colleague of my father insisted that such a thing as taking a fish out of its natural environment like that and putting it in tap water was not possible the catch was, living outside the city limit we had well water, wound up keeping track of FISH until its demise due to a water hose with a lawn mower cut in it accidently siphoned the cooler empty.
I have used needlefish as bait before I usually cut their nose off and neither nose hook them or back hook them. I have caught massive snook, barracuda and jack crevalle.
Can't find sharpener? Use the bottom of a ceramic cup or glass...get instructions on you tube. Go slow..it will put a great edge on a knife....liked this vid....
I don't know what state you're in, but I live in florida, and I can't find any suitable place to fish on saltwater where I'm alone like UA-cam fishermen are when they fish in florida. There's always like 30 people there, or if it's a small spot, three to five old guys posted up in lawn chairs acting like they own the place.
I just wanna let you know I had a massive stroke and your videos keep me happy. Thank you.
Speedy recovery!
Brant, you make it look so easy...... but I know it ain't all that. thanks man

It's funny watching you fish the same spots I hit on a regular basis.
Same. 🤣

Speckled Trout on the grill sounds super delicious 😋😋😍

Great video you are the best
35:57 Chef Paul’s Redfish Magic
Awesome video! Instead of cutting through those scales, use the knife on an angle and go between and under them. Should make life easier!
Good show thanks
How do you like the toad fish combo?
Big brooder ocean trout to start the day 😂
Just moved down to Miami area and have been fishing Tamiami trail, wandering where you were fishing along the way? Hard to find off the road spots.
I have used needlefish as bait before I usually cut their nose off and neither nose hook them or back hook them. I have caught massive snook, barracuda and jack crevalle.
Hope you guys stay safe during the storm.
Brant, y’all keep your heads down and be safe!!
What was that big fish to the right and below while u hooked the fish at time 1:17:09? Looked big too
I've heard 'gators are afraid of cast nets.😅
Chef Paul magic
20:30 big hammer 🔨 on live action
Brad, you really should wear something hi-vis while fishing the highways! Stay safe and God bless y'all
His family has to be sick of eating fish……I can just imagine “Awe, fish again!”
Dude if you need a net person I'm there! Lol ,
What is this the best of compilation channel?
Is this the Gulf Breeze side of the new bridge?
How often do you have to clean your deep fryer?
Which bridge is that? I live in the area and I would love an opportunity to try out that spot.
Try NuNu’s Cajun Seasoning it’s truly the best!!
👍👍😊
where is this bridge i know its in sw fl
Chef Paul Prudhonme’s blackened redfish magic is my favorite Cajun seasoning. Slap ya mama is also really good. Just don’t add any salt

Bow to the king !
I visit the crystal river/homossassa area a few times a year. We use shrimp and catch trout and mangroves. What do you find works the best?
I'm from Pensacola, but I don't recognize the bridge location at all.
With the hybrids? Out toward pace.
Brad would have been run off from that bridge , They have 24 hour surveillance on him.
Oh look, a video
I’ve been using chef Paul red fish blackening Seasoning with melted butter since 1990 after a trip to new Orleans I think
I would take that softshell home and call it a sandwich.
Anybody know where that bridge location is on the highway?
👍🏻 kayak
Will you show how you hold your fish for the camera? One hand opposite side of camera?
What road was you on Brent ? Me and my wife might take a little time to come fish that area when we have time we live eight hours away.
I need a fishing pole a ride a some Bass bait
Dude!! Are you guys ok from the hurricane 9/27/24??
You must have gills behind your ears, and a very understanding wife lol
He was huge
Save Wilson
You could catch in a mud puddle lol
My friend caught a 31inch yesterday (9-27-24)
Yummy 😋

Great video ! Hey bud could you send me a nice fillet of that Speck ?! I’ll pay for s/h …
I think the NOAA has a law that you can only ship Gulf Seafood to China. Have to please the hand that bribes our Congess first.
👍
A couple of those sunfish looked like stumpknockers. Kinda big, but that's what it looked like.
Wipe out! I've did lot worsh, with cast net
Where are you i8n southwest Florida?
If you have limitations on what you can eat, they have several types to fit your diet❤
Nothing wrong with smaller black drum
👍🇮🇷🤘
Can you send me some Bass bait and fishing pole a ride
I thought you were catching fish to eat. 🙄
Massive Fish? Compared to what guppies? They were 99% pukes 1% pie plates! 💯🤔
Compared to how big the average one is...obviously.
I thought if they down the hook they will die.
Tony Chacherie
How many people back when Red fish was legal ate a little bit of Blacked Worm from Paul Pruhdome
I think it was the blackened Redfish that put them on the No Commercial sales list. But They were keeping the Big Reds .
Are you required to wear a life jacket on kayaks?
That sunfish you caught I’m pretty sure it was a female red breast
Where is Ron or y’all went separate ways
I cut out the red meat out of white bass and there hybrids
If you bleed the fish will it get rid of that??
Get out of Florida asap
