I’d encourage some brighter colours, even if it doesn’t fit the ‘aesthetic.’ Having bright colours are sooo much fun for kids, and I’m pretty sure it’s actually good for younger kids’ brain development!
The sign could say, “Born to shine” It’s really easy to add paint in the colors matching your aesthetic to the prints you have. Then they will look hand painted and they will match the room better. 🎉
Yes this is a great idea! I’m currently remaking my girls room into a toddler room right now. I found some rainbow print curtains I really love, and am taking colors from that to incorporate throughout.
i always wonder when i see these vids how the kids react bc when i was around 4 my grandma got tired of my crib/toddler convertible bed and bought me a wonderful brand new bedroom set with a canopy bed. i came home from preschool and had a complete and total meltdown bc my bed was gone 😂
we included my son in the whole process. from the picking out, to purchasing it in the store, to unpacking, to building (he actually screwed all the screws) to making the bed. he was so excited the entire way through. i cannot imagine doing it behind your childs back, i imagine you thinking its fun but think about what you would feel if someone did that to your room without you knowing, i would have a mental breakdown too.... besides theyve gotta sleep in it so theyve got to like the astheatic of the room... not the parents
Similar when I was 4 or 5 - my bed was an old, not even convertible "sofa", more like two foam blocks with a cover on top of each other, something my mom had from her first apartment. I loved it so so much and was sad as hell when I got a real bed 🥲
If you don't like those art pieces you got, you could have your little one make his own space paintings. Even if the "painting" is just him put star stickers on some black paper. I bet he'd love that art even more because he made it himself 😊
If you get a new bed frame u should get a loft bed. You can put his mattress underneath for now and when he gets a little older he can go up top and the bottom can be a hangout spot. Also the letter board is super cute and the price of the other blankets is insane!
You should get the galaxy light that puts planets and stars and stuff on the walls and ceiling of the room I bet he would love it especially at bed time it’s like a cool night light
I'm so excited for our first kid! Adoption for us because physically it can't happen. But my fiance already had the thought in her mind of a space theme for our first. I'm so unhealthy obsessed with space that we didn't even have to discuss the theme for her to know it's what I wanted for my first. We chatted a while back. We want 3 kids. I was asking about theme ideas she had for nurseries and the first thing that came out of her mouth was her saying the first one is obviously going to be space. I almost cried. I was so touched. The 2nd and 3rd will be safari/jungle (can't decide which) and ocean! Not sure in which order. But yeah. We basically had the same thoughts on all 3 designs without even talking about it. I thought the discussion would be more than 5 minutes.
@@doyouhearthepeoplesing2WOW! I believe baby gates are for the safety of children in case you're not aware! I bet you're not a parent and have no idea how stressful it can be worrying about the safety of your child.
Love it❤ put "you're my lucky star" on board:) I bought a cute modern moon wall light from Target for my grandsons play room. Its called Lit wall decor light by pillowfort & its only $20!
When my father use to tell us we love us and we’ll say it back he’ll ask how much and he taught us to say to infinity and beyond 🥰 He’s been unalive for awhile now but my siblings and I taught his tradition to our children and his legacy lives on🤱🏽
You should hang fairy lights around that roof part of the bed thingy with some purple fabric or smth:0 it’ll be like looking at the stars when your going to bed
Maybe but a canopy over his bed, but attach the cannopey to the ceiling so that once hung it only covers the top of his bed? It would prob look so adorable and you can even get a black/ purple one with fairy lights or even stars on it to fit with the space theme!
I’d encourage some brighter colours, even if it doesn’t fit the ‘aesthetic.’ Having bright colours are sooo much fun for kids, and I’m pretty sure it’s actually good for younger kids’ brain development!
Not hating or defending her but she said she's gonna add an accent wall and more toys but u totally agree with you
Aof
I agree 💯💯💯 👍 👍👍
Kids are ❤❤❤❤
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
The sign could say, “Born to shine”

LOVEEEE IT
It’s supposed to be space themed dummy

Definitely some glowing stars on the ceiling!!! They were a nostalgic part of my childhood!!

I love the "to infinity and beyond." I think that's really cute. It pulls in the buzz lightyear from both generations.
sign can say- shoot for the stars ✨
That’s a really good Idea!

That and allowing the child to make their own painting encourages creativity and gives the room more personality (and color)
The sign could say “You are out of this world”
It matches the aesthetic of space and is a very cute phrase 😊
Wait i was thinking that too
W了“g有一个要通过一个一个给他中。一vi水又❤
You could put you are out of this world on the sign
I love you to the moon and back!!!!
The sign right above it already says that
I definitely recommend some stars on the ceiling it could be such a cute touch
this was probably my childhood dream bed (YOU CAN LITERALLY TURN IT INTO A FORT IN SLEEPOVERSS)
Cute sign idea: my parents always used to tell my "I love you to the moon and back". I feel like that could be really sweet ☺️
“I need some space” for the sign!
If you get a new bed frame u should get a loft bed. You can put his mattress underneath for now and when he gets a little older he can go up top and the bottom can be a hangout spot. Also the letter board is super cute and the price of the other blankets is insane!
No she can’t do this because he would most likely try to climb it and get hurt in the middle of the night
@@catlife738well depending on the kind, couldn't you take away the ladder or turn it so that the ladder faces the wall?
@@grumpyskid you could buy the child could try to climb it without the latter like grab on the top rail and pull them up
@@catlife738 oh I didn't think of that. Everyone in my family is short. I couldn't have reached that until like 4th grade 😂
My parents did that with me
The sign can say “I love you to the moon and back!”
"second star to the right, and straight on till morning." ❤

Love the room so far!
There is also the quote "I love you to the moon and back"
So cute! Maybe the bed would look better against a wall?
That’s initially how I wanted it but it’s too big for any wall in his room🥲
@@BriannaBadoWhy did you get that bed then? As you said, head bumping is an issue and all that ugly wood really serves no purpose.
@@chucky6367 because we found it on Facebook marketplace for cheap & needed a bed. I just got a new one though so it served it’s purpose
You should get the galaxy light that puts planets and stars and stuff on the walls and ceiling of the room I bet he would love it especially at bed time it’s like a cool night light
100% agree! We had one and it was so cool! We could change it to show different parts of the sky too but we didn't use that part really!
I'm so excited for our first kid! Adoption for us because physically it can't happen. But my fiance already had the thought in her mind of a space theme for our first. I'm so unhealthy obsessed with space that we didn't even have to discuss the theme for her to know it's what I wanted for my first.

This is so adorable 🥰. Wish you guys all the best Insha Allah.
Love you to the Moon and back!❤
We did a baby gate for our son's room. That way he can still open the door, if he wants/ really lets me know he's actually awake. 😂😁
Baby gates are for lazy parents
@@doyouhearthepeoplesing2 are you a parent? Personally, I think the baby gate idea makes a ton of sense

You could drape some sort of fabric over the bedframe to make it kind of look like a cool fort
Just me: To infinity and beyond is perfect.
The sign should say I love you beyond infinity.
The sign could say I love you mom
