Usually in olden times kings would employ them for pleasure and this wasn't disrespectful to them(the courtesans) because it is their very job and in return they would get valuable objects like coins, garments etc. When you don't have the woman's consent then you can call it disrespectful but here he has their consent or else they wouldn't be seducing him this way
