You should try mead, or honey wine. Is the best way to describe mead. Mead historically goes back easily to ancient Egypt. Good alcohol content. Normally a sweet flavor. Sometimes mixed with fruit in the fermentation process. The Norse culture had a version called blood mead. Where the Norse would mix red cherries in. Causing the finished product to come out dark red.
