I think you got some darn good deals. Even of you spent 5 dollars on a little bit of lego. It still looks more than what comes in a polybag. There are some great colorful pieces in there to add to your collection. I love the Lego movie set though that's an epic score. Fantastic video my friend. Yes ,its worth for the technic pieces.and for the $3 pieces. The $5 pieces aren't worth it. Would have offered $3. But I am with you ,I have a soft spot for old people, too.
The thing I don't understand about mini dolls is this. They could have easily made a more complicated mini doll that was more like a minifigure with articulation and made them more minifigure compatible with things other than just their hair.

I got one the Lego tub sets. 6161 😊the snail build little house tree. and duplo style fig .my house mate had it in his cubbed. .

the technic contraptions book I found at a goodwill for $2 but it's missing a few pieces.
