Back when the Genesis came out the screenshots for this game and that title screen were a major reason I wanted the Genesis. I didn't get to play this game until the Sega classics compilation games started coming out. It's a very solid RPG for the time. The mechanics take sometime to get used to but I dig this game.
Cool game. An open world action wrpg on the Genesis. It's not Skyrim but you get plenty of exploring dungeon crawling and grinding new weapons and spells.
I remember this game being more expensive than the rest of the Genesis games similar to Strider. I never played it but it looks like something I would have liked.

I don't think I ever came across this game when I was a kid. It must of not popped up on the ol' Sega channel. I might give it more time.
Epic music. Ahead of its time for consoles. Great memories. Enough said.
the music from the final town (Carthage?) has been burned into my brain since the early 90s
@simondaniel4028 for me it was after u beat the game and can access all the music cave #2 I think. And the music from the opening story scene.
I had this and played it a lot back in the day.
the music is really cool
Ain't it? I liked it too
One of many RPGs I played on the Genesis.

Physical cart came with a map. Also you spun yourself around so often lol.
I swear nothing confused me more than that map!
Are you using bilineair filtering?
It's through Sega Mega Drive on steam, so I'm not sure what they did.
