🌻🌷🐈 I think I have not heard "Juliet" in a very long time. Sometimes a song stands out with less orchestration....just pure singing- much emotion. This one does exactly that. Other songs like "Longfellow Serenade " excel with many instruments, but still Neil's pure baritone. 😊 So good...so good😊

🌷🐈 Thanks, Doug! I was pleased with your selection today...very much. Certainly one of Neil's great songs, but then aren't they all. I went back and watched "Longfellow Serenade " this morning just to refresh my mind on the orchestration. Oh yes! It's indeed my second favorite ( maybe even my most favorite!!)
We are doing so-so. Bill has had 2 cardioversions for Afib. Irregular heart rhythm...my RA is getting worse, but we are still on our feet!😊 and walking😊. Thanks for the concern. Hope you and yours are well! Take care, Louise

One being that growing old is a "bugger". No choice in the matter; it's what life deals out.... just accept it. Such is life! 😉 Then again, saying "I'm buggered", means I'm worn out (been working too hard).😊.... or to tell someone (annoying one) to "bugger off" (leave, leave me alone) 😊
Veronica and I are fine, glad our horrid summer, though it is now autumn, is nearing its scourge. We had heat spells (113F) that lasted for a week at a stretch on each occasion. 🥵

Yes J. The blue dress at 2:42 is strikingly beautiful! However, the stunning images of this Juliet are steeped in beauty throughout culminating at 2:58 with a familiar image of old of Romeo and Juliet in an embrace. Incidentally, this video reminds me of Mark Knopfler's 'Romeo and Juliet' song that I have been especially drawn to as well. Thank you, Doug, for highlighting Neil's song of 'Juliet'. 💎💎💎
