It is a one box team! The only options you have to sacrifice on are the gunners, but if you’re going straight stats wise, you always pick meltagun-plasma gun-grenade launcher. Sharpshooter counts as gunner and is usually the fourth option. After building those four, build all the specialist and leader, that should leave you with one elite trooper, which is the most optimal team for any board.
General? Plasma and chain sword is still the best combo, if for no other reason than that you get the Piercing 1 rule for shooting attacks. However, if you’re going up against a horde team that saves on 5+ and has bad melee, power sword and las pistol can be pretty good. But if you’ve only got one box, definitely plasma. A one box team video is one I’m gonna be making soon.
@ABitTactical thanks it would just be a cool factor. I am not a big fan of professional soldiers not having long barrel weapons. So the hotshot lasgun appeals to me. That means having the combat dagger has more of an effect as will fore grips and sights.
Did you mention that the sergeant has 3 APL now?

Yea, I made note of that in the actual guide, I wish it were easier to edit videos on UA-cam after the video is up.

If i equip my sgt with a hot shot lasgun and combat dagger does he keep 3+ hits?
Yes, that wouldn’t change it, but it would be a bad pick for him. Unless of course you’re going for cool factor, then it totally makes sense.
