We'll see about that!.... But to be honest, try any mayo-based sauces. Experiment with spices and whatnot. The BEST way to cook it is baked, or on the grill. You can up the ante a bit with a torch at the end to sear the sauce til it's juuuuust barely golden brown on the edges, too. Delicious :)

Sweet! I usually combine chanterelles with crab but I'll have to try with salmon next fall!
Crab is my favorite food! I haven't had any combos with chanterelles, though. Any favorite recipes?
@@FishandForage I like to do a risotto with the chanterelles, adding in the crab at the very last minute :) Super rich and tasty! I like this is a base that I modify as I feel while cooking www.allrecipes.com/recipe/85389/gourmet-mushroom-risotto/

Probably some old ones. It's later in the season for fresh Coho, but you may get lucky here or there!
What's up with the combat fishing @8:50?
This river and spot in particular is a super well-known spot up there, so it's pretty common to be shoulder to shoulder with folks. Part of the reason we decided to explore downriver some! ;)
@@FishandForage Yeah makes sense. When you said you prefer to walk around and explore the holes, I related. That shoulder to shoulder stuff defeats the idea of fishing in my mind.
