- Finally getting a full limit of 12 good dungeness on my kayak!
It's a bit of a feat to fit all three traps on the kayak, but once you're in the groove, it's not so bad!

Good job! Ain’t seen you in a while, glad you are back
Thanks! Hopefully back more and more this year! :)
Nice limit of crab Zach
Thanks Nic! This is the spot we'll hit when the season rolls around again!
@@FishandForage is it a beach launch or boat ramp spot?
@@NorthwestOpenSeason beach, but very calm and you can drive onto the beach.
I wish we had crabbing like that up here in my part of Alaska. We can only go after tanner crabs which are huge, mainly a winter thing, and live in about 500 feet of water.
Oh yeah I don't even want to think about pulling up a trap from 500 feet by hand from a kayak... lol
@@FishandForage yep, you pretty much have to have a pot puller.
I pulled a shrimp pot up from about 200 feet once.... never again lol worst part was we only got a handful of shrimp all day and one of the guys I was with ate them all before anyone else got any! Or maybe the worst part was discovering that jellyfish had been rubbing against the rope and all of us had stinging hands for the rest of the day...
@@FishandForage I bought a 20 foot zodiac and it came with a couple of shrimp pots but no line or a puller. Worried about trying to pull that up by hand.
That's awesome! Wear gloves for sure lol
Why did you stop posting bro😢
I got a new job and a baby! haha! I'm still around, actually working on a new video. Life just got a bit busier than before :)
@@FishandForage good to hear man , and congratulations to you, looking forward to that new video
Nice one bro.. Did you still use the helix drive ? Since you have rolling motor already?
I still use it. It's just 6 bolts to swap it in and I've had battery issues over the summer, so I like to keep it around!
@@FishandForage that's good
